Lovely friendly resort that is in peaceful location. Short cycle ride to a beautiful town. There was lots of variety of boats all in good condition and the week we were there ideal conditions. The bar and restaurant are next to each other with wonderful sea views so it is very sociable. Negatives drinks are expensive and hotel a bit tired (especially pickle ball court) but all worked and good air conditioning in the rooms.

I felt the cleanliness of our room could have been better and was disappointed about the amount of flies in the resort which made mealtimes a very unpleasant experience so we ate out at the local village a lot. Apparently it is very common at this time of the year for the flies to be around so maybe this should be reflected in the price of the holiday. I am not sure we would return to this resort because of this.

Fantastic holiday! Room was adequate, food was great, MW staff went above and beyond. I did SUP, windsurfing, sailing, mountain biking and road cycling. No problems with any of the equipment. Would recommend.

I travelled to Phokaia for the first week of the season, flying from Stansted (rather than the much more convenient Gatwick - flights changed owing to withdrawal of the BA charter). But everything else about the holiday was perfect.
First I was so grateful to Yasemin, now the Mark Warner manager, and Zeynap, on the hotel management team, for allocating me a high, quiet room which completely protected me from late-night noise from the beach bar. I slept incredibly well, and this set me up for hours of windsurfing every morning and afternoon. I don’t think I have ever enjoyed more time on the water on any previous holiday, at Phokaia or elsewhere, and the availability of kit was ideal for me (lots of sails around the 5m mark, lots of Firemove boards). The beach staff were mostly new to me, but just as helpful and welcoming as ever, with Lewis giving me several useful pointers to improve my technique. Launching and landing are easy from this waterfront,, but it is still great to have so many beachies with eyes on the water, ready to carry your kit if you are fatigued.
The food at the restaurant is reliably good. There is live music over dinner - two very talented musicians, whom I recognise from previous years.
I loved it, and will return for a fortnight in September.

Accommodation, staff, food, activities - all 5*
Only the slow 2 hour transfer from the airport to resort was a little tedious but given the roads and relative locations not much can be done about that and it didn't detract at all from the time spent at the resort.
Well done Mark Warner! As a first time guest, it won't be our last holiday with you.
