We had a great family holiday. The food was great, the room was great for us in a suite as a family of four. The childcare groups worked really well with them being able to drop in and out making some good friends. It was a shame our daughter couldn’t do her sailing stage 3 but completely understand the staffing issues made that impossible but they still enabled her and us to get out on the water (me first time in 13 years!) teaching where they could. The bikes were great, the tennis courts were great. We’d really recommend this holiday to families that want to be active, try new things and make friends.

We have given Mark Warner 4 out of 5 stars. Overall, we had a lovely holiday and the staff were exceptional, but there are some areas that need attention if the experience is to remain at the premium level guests expect.
The standout aspect of our stay was the staff. The bar team were brilliant throughout, always friendly, hardworking and welcoming. Housekeeping was also excellent, with rooms kept spotlessly clean and maintained to a very high standard.
The food was another highlight, with excellent quality and plenty of choice for adults. However, the children's menu was very repetitive and it seemed odd that children's meals were not offered at the same time as adult dining. This made it difficult for families to enjoy meals together and felt like an unnecessary inconvenience.
Unfortunately, there was a clear and noticeable impact from staffing shortages, reportedly linked to visa issues. While the staff who were there worked incredibly hard, some areas struggled as a result. Sports activities occasionally felt understaffed, there was some chaos at the airport on arrival, and our transfer coach to the airport at the end of the holiday arrived an hour late.
The resort itself is beginning to look tired. I appreciate that Mark Warner does not own the property, which limits its influence, but the facilities are starting to detract from the overall experience. We experienced brown water from the shower for the first few minutes, cracks in the bathroom wall, a leaking bath, broken bike helmets, and tennis courts that looked in need of refurbishment. There were even nails sticking out of sections of the boardwalk leading to the beach. None of these issues ruined the holiday, but they all point to a resort that needs some investment and TLC. Without this, there is a risk that what should feel like a premium holiday could start to resemble a budget hotel experience.
That said, we still had a wonderful holiday. The staff were fantastic, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and for families with children it was excellent. The kids' clubs were particularly impressive, providing a safe environment that allowed children a degree of independence while giving parents confidence that they were well looked after.
Overall, a very enjoyable holiday with amazing staff and great food, but improvements to staffing levels and investment in the resort facilities would make a significant difference.

The resort is well presented and located, clean and the staff very polite and friendly. The beach and pool are wonderful. The dining room food is very good with a good lunch time menu at the pool bar.

Everything - food, accommodation, services, facilities - was to a good standard, which of course made it an excellent holiday. The childcare staff in particular were trustworthy and kind.

There was nothing about our holiday at Paleros Beach that we didn't like. It was our first holiday of this kind and it was brilliant. Highlights were the waterskiing and the amazing food. Our room was big, comfortable and very clean. The resort was lovely. It was very good for us as a couple with no kids, I think if you were looking for anything with lively evenings this wouldn't be the place for you. But for an activity holiday with lots of options, it was brilliant.

All in all recommended and a good holiday. Has most essentials of Mark Warner going for it. Ali the manager very visible and helpful. Great day care - amazed our little one went in at all but she was very happy and even did Film Club. Fun padel
Missing which I think guests should know about ...no sailing regattas in the afternoons as they say they are concentrating on foiling. Seem to quite quick to close the beach - I know they need to be safe, however it was usually not enough wind to wingfoil or windy and then beach was closed!
Good happy hours
Big thing missing from kids club was a kitchen to wash up baby things, & microwave to heat things.

It is a very pretty location but the bikes had faults and the volleyball court wasn't safe to use.

As usual a great resort, only fault was the beach activity being closed for 2.5 hours over lunch, it meant a lot of good sailing time was wasted. Also the pool should open earlier, a pre breakfast swim be done. These things need addressing, if they were it would have been 5 stars! Alison
