With our unique location and idyllic beach resort, windsurfing in Sardinia is magical when you’re here with us on a Mark Warner holiday. It’s a unique way to see the coastline, get to grips with an activity you wouldn’t usually get to do at home, and soak up that sun while out on the water.
Whether you’re used to windsurfing, or it’s completely new to you, trying it out while you’re here with us is a must. We offer introductory classes, private lessons and classes as part of a group.
We have qualified RYA instructors at hand to help anyone learn the ropes and get comfortable with sailing on their own. They will show you how to control the board, provide tips on how to leverage your balance to navigate the waters and what to do if you fall over.
All equipment used is the best available and instructors will help you easily understand how everything works so you can get out there and see what makes windsurfing one of the best activities you can do on holiday.
Perdepera sits within a headland, creating a natural shelter around the beach. This also helps provide ideal windsurfing conditions for those trying it out for the first time. We recommend getting down there in the mid-morning if you’re only just starting out with windsurfing. As is common in the Mediterranean, winds pick up around lunch and the early afternoon is a delight for any experienced windsurfing who can navigate quite well and use the wind to their advantage.
Mark Warner holiday goers love windsurfing in Sardinia because it has:
The cost for lessons and using a board is all included in your holiday, leaving no excuses for you to try it out when you have the chance.
Instructors work with all skill sets, so it doesn’t matter if you’re walking in completely oblivious as to what to do or if you’re already somewhat familiar with a board and simply need a refresher to get you back up to speed.
Classes are quick and aimed to get you safely out on the water in no time at all.
Sardinia is a water lover’s paradise. That’s why we have a whole host of watersports available at Perdepera Beach Resort.
If you don’t fancy windsurfing, you can still use the wind to your advantage and try your hand at sailing with lessons to help you navigate a board yourself.
A lot of our guests, especially families are fond of kayaking in the morning when the water is calm and serene, while those who like trying something completely different may like to have a go at SUP boarding. This unique activity has taken off in recent years and is a great way to be in the water and take everything in at your own pace.
You can find out more on our dedicated Perdepera watersports page.
