Our Ionian resort, Paleros Beach Resort offers a great choice of modern accommodation.

The resort has 3 pools including an adult only pool, 2 restaurants and several bars, a spa and gym, 2 new padel courts, 3 tennis courts and a pickleball court, cycling, a well-equipped waterfront centre and excellent childcare facilities.

Activity Holidays in the Ionian

The calm, shallow waters of the Ionian Sea are ideal for children and those looking to learn to sail , windsurf, or waterski and wakeboard.

If you're after a more relaxed watersport, glide around the cove in a kayak or on stand up paddleboard. Guests can also make full use of our two brand-new padel courts and three tennis courts, or give pickleball a go.

Waterskiing and wakeboarding tow packages, or scuba diving or rowing courses can also be booked at an additional cost.

The Ionian Coast is located on the western coast of Greece's mainland.


Best time to visit the Ionian Islands and the Ionian Coast

The Ionian has a Mediterranean climate and experiences warm weather from May to October. Many of the tavernas are open throughout the season. The best time to visit can be May, June, September and October if you want to avoid the crowds and enjoy warm sunshine and an active holiday.
During May, temperatures are around 25 but the sea may be cooler. In June, the average temperature sits around 29°C. The Ionian enjoys comfortable temperatures and gentle seas during September and October, and the sea is warm.
If you enjoy long, sunny days, warm temperatures and balmy evenings, July and August can be the best time to visit the Ionian for families or those looking to learn (or perfect) a watersport. The average temperature hovers around 32°C, and the warm water is ideal for swimming, stand-up paddle boarding or learning to sail or windsurf.
