Road cycling holidays

Led by our experienced team, Mark Warner road cycling holiday tours are designed to offer something for all abilities. We run three grades of tour including easy, medium and challenging, with routes ranging from 10–90 km.

If you’re feeling adventurous, you’re welcome to hit the road on your own and see where it takes you (we’ll make sure you’ve got a good map!)

We have a fleet of Scott and Cannondale bikes for you to use free of charge, as well as helmets, puncture repair kits, pumps, spare inner tubes and tyre levers. Super keen cyclists are more than welcome to bring their own bike to the resort. Your teens are welcome to use our bikes too, as long as they are big enough to use the equipment comfortably and are accompanied by an adult.

If you like to track your rides, we’ve got our own Strava Cycling Club, where you can find more information on our routes, leaderboards and challenges. Why not indulge your competitive streak and find out how you compare against fellow Mark Warner guests?!

Road cycling is available at all of our resorts, but Aeolian Village is our best destinations for road cycling overall.

Helmets are mandatory and are provided free of charge. Puncture repair kits, pumps, spare inner tubes and tyre levers are also available. Our bikes are fitted with standard flat or cage type pedals. Guests who cycle regularly are encouraged to bring their own shoes, cleats and pedals with them and our staff will happily fit these onto the bikes.

Don’t forget to bring phone cases and mounts, as we are unable to provide a one size fits all system.

Our team of guides are on hand to assist and offer advice. We also provide maps and detailed itineraries each day. However, this may vary in each resort.

Bring your own road bike

For cyclists that would like to bring their own bike on our Enter Air charter flights please book directly with our Sales/Aftersales team, please book early as places are limited to 5 bikes. Preference is given on a first-come, first-served basis. On our British Airways charters bikes can be carried, payable as excess luggage at check-in. Please advise the Sales/Aftersales team if you plan to take your own bike so the resort and airline can be advised in advance.

What to bring

We recommend you bring your own water bottle, bib shorts, jerseys and rain cape (if necessary).
