Scuba diving at Levante Beach Resort

An island fashioned by ancient volcanic activity, the underwater world of Rhodes is defined by magnificent topography and a touch of the unusual. The tranquil Aegean Sea (and not the Mediterranean as many would expect), with its stunningly clear water, is a pleasure to experience. Discover its hidden treasures: colourful nudibranchs feeding on an abundance of sponges, barracuda schools, curious blennies, squid, octopus and grouper.

Try dives

If you are keen to learn and want to explore under the water, but unsure if diving is for you, then why not try our free "try" dive in the pool under the supervision of one of our PADI instructors. Here you can learn all about the equipment and get a feel for wearing it, and learn breathing techniques under water.

The dive sites around the resort are suitable for both novice and experienced divers with wreck, wall and cave diving available for the more experienced diver.

We have qualified Indepth PADI diving instructors on hand at Levante Beach Resort to help beginners up to intermediates. Indepth also offer snorkelling trips and introductions to snorkelling for those that would like to learn the basics.

Important information

Safety first

Your safety is important so if you would like to scuba dive, you'll need to complete a medical history form. You may also need a physical check-up. If you're over 45 years of age or have a previous medical condition, please bring a doctor's certificate confirming that you're fit to dive. Whether you can or cannot dive, will be entirely at the discretion of your qualified instructor whose main concern, at all times, is your safety.

Please ensure you check the PADI Medical Statement here to ensure you do not have any 'Yes' answers that may need a medical doctor's advice and signed approval before you can join any scuba diving course. Upon successful completion of your pre-booked dive course, there will be a PADI processing fee of £25 for your certification card. This is not included in the pre-book price.

Booking courses

PADI dive courses in the Mediterranean resorts can be pre-booked in the UK. All courses booked in resort are subject to local taxes, and are therefore more expensive.

Manuals and certificates

Manuals are mandatory for all PADI courses and can be purchased in resort. A certification fee may also be applicable for your course.

Additional information

You can come and see the Indepth Dive Team at the pool or at the dive centre near the Beach Bar to get more information about the fun you can have underwater this summer.

All courses run through childcare times for adults. You will always be back in time to pick up your children.
