Your 2021 holiday

As a family business with 46 years in the travel industry, the welfare for our customers and our staff is of upmost importance to us. Our first class covid safety measures allowed our 2020 summer to go ahead uninterrupted, and safety continues to be our priority this year. To ensure your safety and welfare we are taking every measure to ensure your sun or ski holiday is as safe as can be from start to finish. In order to comply with local government regulations in resort some activities or services may be altered, amended or in-operable for safety reasons.

Even with additional safety measures in place an escape to the Med at the last minute is possible. Our Sales Travel Experts and After Sales Care Team are on hand 6 days a week from 9am to 5pm to help answer any further covid queries.

Our Covid-19 Booking Pledge

For added comfort when making a booking this year we have updated our ATOL protected booking policy to allow you more flexibility this summer;

  • Your holiday balance will be due as late as 6 weeks (usually 12 weeks).
  • Amend your booking up to 14 days before departure.
  • If you (or a member of your party) are unable to travel due to contracting Covid-19 prior to departure you will be able to amend your booking without incurring a fee.
  • We will not operate in a destination which requires all travellers from the UK to quarantine or self-isolate automatically upon arrival.
  • Reduced rates on PCR tests through our PCR partners.

Travel Traffic Lights

Following the government and Global Travel Taskforce guidelines for England the safe restarting of international travel will be accompanied by a global traffic light system; destinations will be categorised into ‘green’, 'amber’ or ‘red’ lists. Each coloured list will have its own rules and regulations to ensure travel is covid compliant and safe. To help you understand what this means for a Mark Warner holiday, each category has been explained below.

We will be continuing to regularly review the situation in all of our destinations as well as the guidance from the Global Travel Taskforce.

Last update: 8th July 2021

Green listed destinations

No quarantining upon your return home – unless you have a positive test result.

One rapid flow test before you begin your journey home (applicable to anyone over 11 years old and over) and a PCR test within 48 hours of arriving back in England (applicable to anyone 5 years old and over). All tests must be booked before you travel.

Complete a passenger locator form. You can submit the form any time in the 48 hours before you arrive in the UK and you will need to show your form when you check in to board your plane home.

Amber listed destinations
