Discover the best beaches in Sardinia

Sardinia boasts some of the most stunning beaches in the world. With over 1,200 miles of coastline covered in powdery white sands and glistening crystal clear water, this magnificent island is a gem of the Mediterranean.

During your stay at Perdepera Beach Resort, there is a stunning beach nestled amidst a spectacular bay with a backdrop of incredible mountains. The on-site beach offers guests the chance to unwind and enjoy the warm sun and sea. There are also numerous watersports activities to take part in which is a great option for keeping the whole family entertained.

However, if you are feeling adventurous and wish to explore what is beyond the resort, there are many beautiful beaches to be discovered. With each beach offering something different for all tastes and encompassing their own unique attributes, you will be spoiled for choice with the variety of exceptional paradises in Sardinia.

Best beaches for families

As many of the guests at Perdepera Beach Resort are families, it is important that there are parts of the island outside of the resort that are family friendly. Luckily many of Sardinia’s beautiful beaches are ideal for people of all ages.

Situated just an hour drive from the Mark Warner resort is the stunning Costa Rei. Nestled amongst breathtaking scenery of long, sandy beaches it has a fascinating culture that intrigues all its visitors. The beach itself is ideal for the perfect family day out as it has shallow waters great for paddling and the sea currents are not strong like some other beaches.

For those looking to do more than sunbathe and swim there are also a variety of activities to take part in such as scuba diving, snorkelling and motor bike rentals. Famed for its magnificent coral reefs, Costa Rei has some great areas for scuba diving and snorkelling.

To top off your memorable family day out, visit the local shops selling arts and crafts, enjoy a meal at one of the many restaurants and even spend the evening at the open-air cinema. Costa Rei is a fantastic way to spend a day during your Mark Warner holiday in Sardinia where you can relax by day and play by night.

Finding your own personal paradise

If you are looking for solidarity you are guaranteed to find it at Spiaggia di Piscinas. This little slice of heaven is pure bliss and makes a wonderful and memorable day out during your Mark Warner holiday.

Beaches for adventure

Perdepera Beach Resort offers a wide variety of things to do on-site that will keep everyone entertained and having a great time both indoor and outdoor. However, if you are looking to take your sense of adventure beyond the resort then Cala Goloritzè is the perfect beach for you.

Located an hour and a half drive from the Mark Warner resort, this beautiful bay attracts many hikers and climbers of all levels. The beach is home to the famed Aguglia, a 485ft. rock that stands tall over the shore and attracts many rock climbing enthusiasts.

For families and those not looking to ascend high above the sea, there are plenty of beautiful hikes to go on. The old mule trail is ideal for kids or those looking not to exert themselves too much. The track takes you on a journey through rock arches and a marvellous limestone canyon where you can enjoy the sites of beautiful trees and lush landscape. The trail eventually leads to the magnificent bay where you can walk down the steps to the beach and take in the unbelievable views of the Mediterranean Sea.

Whether you are seeking a relaxing day in a secluded paradise, an adventurous day taking on the island’s cliffs or simply a fun-filled day out with the family, the beaches of Sardinia all hold their own unique qualities that please individual desires. Taking the time to venture to either of these beaches is a great way to make unforgettable memories during your Mark Warner holiday.
