Which Mark Warner resort is right for you?
It's the question we get asked most. "We'd love to come to Mark Warner, but which resort?" And it's a genuinely good question, because the four resorts don't just differ in location. They have different personalities, different strengths, and different sweet spots.
What they share: flights, half-board dining, expert-coached activities and kids' clubs are all included in the price. What they don't share is everything else. Here's how to find your match.

Aeolian Village, Lesvos - for the wind-chasers
Of all four resorts, Aeolian Village sits most naturally within its surroundings. The island of Lesvos does a lot of the work; quiet roads for cycling, local bars set on stilts above the sand a 15-minute walk away, and a beach that happens to be one of the best windsurf and wing spots in the Med. If wing surfing is what you're after, this is where you come.
The resort has two freshwater pools (one for younger guests), two restaurants, three bars and a small spa. But the draw is outside: RYA-qualified instruction on the water, mountain bike trails on quiet island roads, tennis and padel on court. A 15-minute walk brings you to the local town, the only resort in the collection where you can genuinely stroll out to a local scene (more than a few beach bars) in the evening.
Best for: windsurfers at every level, cyclists, couples who like an evening off-resort, families happy with a relaxed and independent pace.
Good to know: Waterfront services and kids' club are closed on Wednesdays (transfer day). Foiling, scuba diving, beauty treatments and personal training are available at extra cost.

Lemnos - for the sunset-seekers
Ask anyone who's been to Lemnos what they remember and they'll tell you: the sunsets. The resort sits on Plati Beach in a west-facing bay that was clearly chosen by someone who knew what they were doing. Come 7pm, you'll understand.
Beyond the views, Lemnos is the most authentically Greek of the four. A long-standing team creates a genuinely sociable atmosphere. Guests tend to feel like regulars even on a first visit. Villa-style accommodation with private sea-view balconies, the town of Myrina a short bike ride away, calm morning waters for waterskiing and wakeboarding, strong afternoon breezes for sailing and windsurfing. Two pools (one for younger guests), two restaurants, three bars and a salon with treatment rooms.
One thing worth knowing: evening entertainment here is low-key and social rather than organised shows. If you want a full programme every night, Lemnos isn't that. If you want good company, a local taverna and a proper Greek island evening, it absolutely is.
Best for: couples and families wanting genuine Greek atmosphere, watersports enthusiasts, solo travellers, anyone who takes sunsets seriously.
Good to know: Waterfront and childcare are closed on Fridays. Foiling, personal training and waterski/wakeboard tows are at extra cost.

Paleros - for young families
If you're travelling with children under five, Paleros is the one. The sheltered Potamaki Bay gives genuinely calm, shallow water, the kind where toddlers can wade in and parents can breathe out. Three pools including a dedicated toddler pool, two restaurants, three bars and a full spa. Surrounded by olive-clad mountains and the Ionian Sea, with the village of Paleros a 30-minute cycle away.
The sports programme has expanded recently with new tennis, pickleball and padel courts, and the kayaking and paddleboarding along the Ionian coastline is some of the most scenic you'll find at any of our resorts.
Best for: families with toddlers and young children, guests who want pool and spa time alongside watersports, couples looking for a scenic and relaxed base.
Good to know: Waterfront and childcare are closed on Fridays. Full spa use and personal training are available at extra cost. Activities vary slightly across our resorts - see the full activity comparison for details.

Phokaia, Turkey - for the resort experience
If you want the most; the most pools, the most dining options, the most in-resort facilities, Phokaia is your answer. Four pools including two toddler pools and an indoor option, a luxury spa, three restaurants, a coffee shop and three bars including an a la carte Jetty Bar where you can eat with your feet practically in the water. Lush gardens, glamorous poolside cabanas and a long sandy bay.
What makes Phokaia genuinely different from the three Greek resorts is the dining: it's the only MW resort where full-board is included five evenings a week. The other two evenings are yours to explore the town of Foça, a 10-minute drive away. The activity programme covers all the MW staples; sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, paddleboarding, tennis, pickleball - plus aerial yoga and guided cycling tours with the in-resort team.
Best for: families wanting maximum on-site choice, guests with babies and toddlers, couples who want a spa break built in, anyone who wants more dining variety across the week (with full board included 5 days a week).
Good to know: Drinks at Phokaia, as at all our resorts, are purchased in resort and aren't included in the package price. Waterfront and kids' club are closed on Tuesdays. Beauty treatments and personal training are at extra cost.

Thinking about winter instead?
If snow sounds better than sunshine right now, we have one home in the mountains: Tignes, in the French Alps. Chalet hotel, half-board with wine included at dinner, afternoon tea with cakes, and kids' clubs from the very young upwards.
