We ask that you please advise of any dietary requirements at the time of booking so that we can make the resort team aware before your arrival. The hotels can cater for most dietary needs but some will have to be double checked with the hotel. We highly recommend talking to one of our Travel Experts if in doubt.
For the comfort of all our guests and staff, smoking is allowed only in designated smoking areas, this includes e-cigarettes and similar. Your co-operation with this policy is very much appreciated.
Chargeable extras include; a superb childcare service (4 months - 12 years), in-house beauty salons, reserved ski school places for adults and children and ski and snowboard hire.

Charges vary by hotel & destination, however at the time of publication (1.06.2019) are €1 - €2.50 per person per night in France & €3 per person per night in Austria.
All of our ski holidays run Sunday to Sunday.
At all of our ski properties you will be catered for on a chalet board basis. This means you will get breakfast and afternoon tea everyday of your holiday and a three-course meal with wine 6 evenings of your holiday. On one of the nights, you will have the chance to eat out of the hotel at a local restaurant. This is at an additional cost.
As many of you will know, due to a French court case Mark Warner and all other British ski companies won’t be operating our usual ski hosting programme in France. The St Anton region of Austria has also followed suit so our hosts in France and Austria won’t now be able to ski with our guests.
The moment you arrive at the airport, our hosts will be on hand to help. They will accompany you on the transfer from the airport to resort, answering any questions you might have and once you get to resort they will have pre-booked lift passes ready for collection. In the mornings they will give advice about different levels of ski groups direct groups towards the best pistes and snow conditions.
To access the lifts on the mountain, you need a lift pass. If you are a complete beginner, some of the beginner lifts are free to use, but all other lifts require a lift pass. You can pre-book these for your holiday and our resort team will have them waiting at the hotel the day you arrive. We also recommend pre-booking your skis and boots. Once in resort, you can head to the ski hire shop to pick your equipment up.

We do not have any adult friendly holidays however we do offer Club Mark Warner weeks, which give adult guests the chance to meet other fellow holiday-makers and participate in local excursions, group night outs and activities together.

Local tourist taxes are not included in the price of summer holidays to Greece and are payable by you when you check out of our holiday accommodation. These are applicable to all bookings made from August 2019 for summer 2020 onwards and may vary by resort.
Charges will vary by hotel, however costs are calculated based on the number of overnight stays and room type, ranging from 0.50cent to €4 per room per night.
If booking 12 or more weeks outside of your holiday, you will pay a deposit of £175pp. Once inside 12 weeks, the full amount will need to be paid. 'How to pay' details >>
All amendments to bookings can either be requested by telephone to the After Sales Department on 0333 305 9795 or by email, to firstname.lastname@example.org (if you have booked direct with us). We will endeavour to assist if we can.
Once we have issued the confirmation invoice, there will be a charge of £35 per person per occasion a change is made (if the change can be made) except as set out below.
Changes made within 12 weeks of departure will be treated as a cancellation of the original arrangements by you and cancellation charges will apply. However, if the change is to increase the number of persons booked, no amendment fee or cancellation charges will be payable.
Similarly, no amendment fee or cancellation charges will apply for a name change where the holiday arrangements otherwise remain exactly as originally booked unless flight tickets have been issued. In this case, an amendment fee of £35 per name change will be payable if on charter flights. For scheduled flights, the airline may treat any change (including a name change) made after tickets have been issued as a cancellation of the original booking and impose 100% cancellation charges. Accordingly, you may have to pay the full cost of the flight(s) in question as well as the amendment fee of £35 per person affected.
Cancellation shall take effect only when written notification from the first named person on the booking is received by us or your travel agent. In all cases of cancellation the deposit and any amendment charges will be forfeited.

We offer accommodation only holidays for travellers making their own way to resort. We offer a discount depending on date and destination. The discount is only applicable to holidays sold at full brochure price and the maximum ever discounted (applicable to date and destination) is £100 per person. A childshare price is the cost of the child when going over the occupancy of a room. This child would usually be on an extra bed, so we offer a discount from the child price to the child share price.
In the summer, children under 12 years old (on return date of travel) pay child prices.
In the winter, children under 16 years old (on return date of travel) pay child prices.
Prices are based on at least two people sharing a room. If fewer than the standard occupancy share the room, an under occupancy fee will apply. This is because the cost of providing the room is the same regardless of how many people occupy that room - eg if a solo traveller occupies a room with more than one bed. These under occupancy supplements may vary depending on date of travel.
During some dates, such as Club Mark Warner Weeks, we offer twin or double rooms for solo travellers without having to pay an under occupancy fee - this is known as 'free sole occupancy'.
Single rooms are available at some of our hotels, whereby the standard occupancy is one person. An under occupancy does not apply to single rooms.

Prams are only for the use of Mark Warner Nannies but you can bring your own. Parents can take them up to the gate and then they are placed in the hold of the aircraft (at no extra cost).
Depending on their age, they may be in different clubs. This is because we operate a strict ratio of children to nannies which varies between clubs, plus most organised activities are aimed at specific age groups.
Our summer resorts all have 24 hour kitchens except for Levante where a complimentary sterilising pack is available in guest’s rooms upon check in. In Lemnos the kitchen is available from 8:30-11pm, but there is a night watch in case access is needed outside of these hours.
Yes they are, and the majority of our nannies have an NNEB, DCE, NVQ or equivalent qualification, or at least 2 years relevant childcare experience.
No, babysitting can only be arranged with the childcare manager in resort; it is from 15 euros an hour and is subject to availability. This service is subject to availability of staff.
Children 2 years of age and over will automatically be allocated a bed. If you wish to have a bed side barrier for your child's bed please contact our After Sales Department or tell our sales team when making a booking.
Yes. Your children are welcome to eat with you in the evening. Please note that this will be an adult orientated menu. Alternatively your children can eat children's dinner served at 5 o'clock with a children's menu.

Summer: We can only take children from 4 months old to 5 years old for the evening crèche, and from 6 - 9 years children have evening entertainment including a supervised movie.
All children 10 to 13 years booked into daytime Kidz club are encouraged to join our Kidz dinner and games night provided by their leaders 6 days a week from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. You will need to register your child for this service and sign them in and out of the evening club.
For our teens 14 to 17 years we offer a more grown up affair with a social dinner and games night until 10.30pm. This group may come and go as they please but also have to be booked into the Indy club during the day.
Winter: Yes it is available to all children between 4 months and 12 years but for those not booked into daytime childcare, evening childcare will be charged at £60 per child per week and should be pre-booked as places are limited.

Please Note: At most of our resorts there is a resort shop which will stock items such as wet wipes, aqua nappies, sun hats and sun cream. However, it is advisable to bring a supply with you in case of stock of an item has sold out.

We have reserved ski school places in our hand-picked schools throughout the Alps. Most ski schools take children from 4 years, but La Plagne offers a special Snowman Kindergarten for 3 year olds. All ski school is pre-bookable in the UK. If you would like private lessons they can be booked in resort.
All Chalet Hotels apart from the Rosanna, Tarentaise & Chalet Loden offer a drop off service. When booking ski school for 4 years and above through us, while also booked into the relevant club, our nannies can take them to and from the ski school.

As a general rule the following must be adhered to:
Liquids, gels and pastes must be 100ml/100g or under and must be in a sealable clear plastic bag no larger than 20cm x 20cm.
If you are travelling with an infant you may exceed this amount by bringing enough baby food/milk for the duration of your flight.
