From magical Christmas events throughout the festive season to electrifying parties and organised evening events, you will never be stuck for something to do off the slopes in La Plagne.
One of the most established ski resorts in the Alps, La Plagne puts on a number of party events throughout the season. Get the party started in style with stylish après ski drinks piste side. With table top dancing and champagne showers, Scotty’s bar is the place to be to kick off your evening in style.
For evening events, there are a number of bars in the town which provide live entertainment throughout the season. Every Monday evening at 6pm throughout the season the tourist information organise a welcome drink for new visitors to the town. Other evening events include regular party evenings at Igloo bar with DJ sets from 9pm onwards.
There is nowhere more magical during the festive period than the Alps. Throughout this time La Plagne puts on a number of fantastic Christmas events which are sure to get you in the Christmas spirit. In the weeks building up to Christmas a traditional Christmas market opens in the centre of the town selling Christmas trinkets, vin chaud and stocking fillers.
If you are visiting with children, a Santa’s Grotto appears in the town in the build up to Christmas. Also keep your eyes peeled for Santa and his elves on the slopes. On Christmas Eve the ski instructors in the town put on an incredible light show for visitors. Starting on the mountain, the instructors make their way down the slopes with lights creating an awesome display. Children are also able to take part in the event if they have reached their second star. After the event the instructors join spectators for a hot drink.
Start the New Year as you mean to go on, in style. There is nowhere better way to finish up the year than on the slopes in the exciting resort of La Plagne. Here the celebrations start with lively après ski parties and end in the small hours in one of the towns nightclubs. All of the bars and nightclubs in the resort put on special parties to celebrate New Year’s Eve. Be sure to get your ticket in advance as they sell out quickly. What could be a better after a night on the tiles than a day on the slopes to clear away the cobwebs and get you in the mood to do it all again.
