Natasha Psihogioy

General Manager

After finishing my tourist management course at university in 2001, I decided to complete an internship at the Mark Warner Paleros Beach Resort, as I am from Paleros. Four years later, I became the reception manager. I really enjoyed having the opportunity to work with and meet lots of people. As a result, I decided to pursue a career in hospitality. I have since worked across Greece and in a number of other resorts. In 2019, I returned to Paleros Beach Resort with Mark Warner, and in 2020, I became the resort manager. Since then my wonderful team and I have been running the most beautiful resort in the world.

The Mark Warner team can't wait to welcome you to Paleros, you're going to love it here, just like we do!

Lucy Marchant

Operations Manager

My name is Lucy and I have been working with Mark Warner since 2017, I started with the Childcare Team which I absolutely loved and have since moved my way to Operations Manager. I fell in love with Paleros in 2022, from the amazing sunsets, friendly locals and fantastic flat water which is perfect for wakeboarding. When I am not entertaining the little ones in the play park, you will usually find me by the beach with my favourite strawberry mojito in my hand. I can't wait to see you all around resort.

Mark Smith

Activities Manager

Hi, I’m Mark and I’m the activities manager here at the beautiful Hotel Paleros beach resort. I’ve worked for Mark Warner since April 2023. I’ve travelled extensively all over the Ionian peninsula for nearly 30 years, so when I was offered the role I jumped at the chance to work here. For me there is no better way to explore the area than by bike, whether it be a short trip into the village or further afield to Lefkas the scenery is absolutely stunning. You’ll usually find me out and about on resort with my team, riding, playing tennis or joining in with one of our fitness classes so do stop and say hello. I look forward to seeing you on your holiday.

Food and drink at Paleros Beach Resort

The restaurant team at Paleros pride themselves on the warmth of the hospitality and the tastiness of the food. Many of the team are from the region so you can expect local know-how combined with fresh ingredients in every meal.

Your stay is booked on a half-board basis which means breakfast and evening meals are included each day. Lunch and drinks are not included but there’s a tempting list of lunch time options for you to choose from and 3 well stocked bars to keep you refreshed and looked after.

Main Restaurant

The attractive main restaurant sits between the pool, the gardens and the beach with views in all directions. The glass walls retract when the evenings are warm, bringing the outside in, or you can take a table out on the pool terrace to enjoy dining al fresco.

The breakfast buffet offers a myriad of choice, from fresh fruit and cereals, to home made breads and all the cooked options you could wish for. Whether you just want to grab a coffee or fuel up for a cycle up the hills you can do so in style.

Come the evening the restaurant transforms into a sophisticated Mediterranean eatery, with choices to please all tastes and indeed dietary preferences. Kick off with a range of fresh salads, soups or hot and cold starters before tucking into freshly prepared fish, grills, Greek speciality dishes and familiar international favourites. If there’s room left there’s always a visit to the dessert counter to tempt all those with a sweet tooth.

The hospitality team have chosen a wine list that reflects the excellent choices in the local region and is well worth exploring, as well as some familiar options.

The main restaurant also plays host each evening to a “social table” where you can meet and mingle with other Mark Warner guests and share a tale or two of your holiday exploits.

Taverna Avli

Sitting amongst the palm trees of the resort gardens next to the beach, Taverna Avli is a casual outdoor restaurant, comfortably shaded from the sun.

Open for lunch, the extensive a la carte menu features perennial Greek favourites, like gyros and beautifully fresh Greek salads alongside lunchtime staples like homemade pizzas and burgers. Great quality and a laid-back vibe come as standard.

Never too far from a bar

Paleros Beach Resort has three bars, ensuring that wherever you are on the property you’re within easy reach of refreshment.

Each bar carries a large selection of drinks, including juices, smoothies and premium coffees made to order, local and international beer choices and a fine selection of wines, spirits and cocktails.

Beach Bar

Whether you’re picking up a juice to take to the beach, cooling down with a beer after a game of tennis or enjoying your coffee  of choice, the beach bar is where you’ll head. Come the evening the venue comes to life as a favourite stop for pre-dinner cocktails and post-dinner tipples.

Pool Bar

Situated on the terrace of the main pool, the pool bar is your go to for refreshments as you enjoy some downtime in and around the sunbeds. Fully stocked to serve younger guests and their parents, you never have to venture far from your favoured spot by the pool.

Lounge Bar

Tucked inside the resort’s reception area, the lounge bar is a haven from any changes in the weather, a spot for a quiet catch up, or an opportunity to catch the match on the big screen. The full drinks selection is available here too.

From sundowners to lights out

Mark Warner evenings are as chilled as you'd expect. Most guests opt for a relaxed catch up in the bar after a day in the sun or on the go.
The Mark Warner team organise some low-fi entertainment on a few evenings a week. That might include a quiz, some music or a fun game of "Tipsy Tennis", for which tennis skills are little advantage!
Our younger guests are well catered for with films, games and evening activities laid on for all age groups.
