Designed with a modern, stylish feel, the fully renewed Paleros Beach Resort was welcomed back to the Mark Warner programme in 2019 to excellent reviews. Nestling in a bay backed by olive grove clad mountains and washed by the dazzling Ionian Sea, it’s perfect for action and exploration as well as relaxing. The hotel is situated 30 minutes’ walk, or a gentle bike ride, from the small village of Paleros, where guests can visit quaint seafront bars and traditional Greek tavernas. Families will love the spacious family pool, while the adult pool has a more tranquil vibe. Set amidst flower-filled gardens with lovingly tended lawns, the attractive accommodation features a choice of 130 contemporary rooms to suit all party sizes.
The calm water makes for perfect conditions to waterski and wakeboard. Guests can also take out a stand up paddle board or kayak. The rowing boats are an energetic way to get out on the water. Our friendly, expert waterfront instructors are on hand during your sun holiday running free windsurfing and sailing classes: the light breezes are great for both beginners and improvers. The waterfront is open Monday - Saturday inclusive.
Guests enjoy half board dining including daily buffet breakfast and evening meals included every day of the holiday. Local ingredients and traditional Greek influences are key to buffet dinners in the main restaurant. Fresh and vibrant salads, grilled meats, fish, baked goods, tempting pastries and desserts are all on the menu.
Little ones will love the spacious and colourful childcare centre, filled with a great assortment of games and toys. The childcare and waterfront teams can help them to learn to sail and windsurf while ensuring they can enjoy plenty of pool time too. The setting for our Paleros resort could hardly be more beautiful. A seemingly land-locked bay, surrounded by mountains and lush gardens, its calm blue waters are especially perfect for waterskiing.
The small town of Paleros is situated on the north-west coast of Aetolia-Acarnania and is a 30-minute walk or a gentle cycle ride from the resort. The village is well worth a visit and has plenty of quaint seafront bars, restaurants and authentic Greek tavernas to relax and admire the ocean views.
Also nearby is the beautiful island of Lefkada, famous for its incredible beaches which amazes visitors with the magical blue colour of its waters and picturesque scenery.
Set amidst flower-filled gardens and lovingly tended lawns, the newly refurbished accommodation buildings at Paleros are painted in neutral colours with terracotta roofs. 130 modern rooms range in size from twin and doubles to family rooms and suites to accommodate all sizes of party.

A suite consists of two rooms each with their own terraces leading onto the gardens. One room has a double bed with sliding doors leading to another room with two sofa beds (suitable for teenagers) plus an additional armchair that can also be used as a single bed. There is one bathroom, with a bath, shower and WC. This room can also hold a cot if needed.

There are two restaurants at the resort, the main restaurant right in the centre of the beautiful gardens for breakfast and dinner, and a more traditional taverna near the beach for lunch. The resort also has three bars, perfect to enjoy a refreshing drink poolside during the day or a cocktail as the sun goes down.
You will find two restaurants in the resort. The main restaurant is very well-placed and serves buffet-style meals – there will be something to cater for all preferences! The more traditional Taverna Avli is located near the beach and offers tasty lunch choices.
Our restaurants use fresh, local ingredients and offer an assortment of grilled meats, fish, baked goods and tempting pastries and desserts, all to be enjoyed al fresco in a stunning décor.

The crystal-clear waters in Paleros make it an ideal location to learn to perfect your diving skills. Courses are available from 20th May 2022 via our partners, InDepth. Dives can be pre-booked at Paleros Beach Resort when you arrive at resort. Courses include a scuba diving course costing £250 and an open water course costing £370.
Explore the coastline and its tranquil waters while scuba-diving and enjoy magical surroundings for a truly relaxing and amazing time alone or as a group.
This fast growing sport is fun and easy to learn (unlike surfing!) and the great thing about SUP boarding is that you will benefit from a strong 'core' workout. Within an hour or two you will find you are more than comfortable on your board on the water.
SUP boarding, as it is often referred to can be done in a variety of conditions. When learning, falt calm conditions are recommended. Starboard SUP boards are available for use free of charge.
Always wanted to try rowing, inspired by The Boat Race? Experience single skull rowing at Paleros Beach Resort. The flat conditions in the early morning makes Paleros a great spot for rowing. This newest watersport is becoming very popular with guests and the coastal rowing boats are free to use at resort.
Paleros offer fantastic on-land sporting activities much the same as our other beach resorts. Those wishing to get on court and play tennis will be able to join in social matches and book courses with LTA accredited coaches. There will also be the opportunity to enjoy the local area with our tours of Paleros. You also have the option of touring the resort on two wheels with our free guided bike tours (both road and mountain biking) which you can sign up to daily plus we will provide a huge array of fitness classes.
Our new Greek resort will offer an activity to suit every individual whether you are looking for fast-paced, heart-pumping exercise or classes such as yoga to wind down.

A great way to explore the beautiful area around Paleros Beach Resort is by mountain bike or road cycling, available whether you're looking to set off on your own or enjoy one of our very popular tours. With tours for all fitness levels, you have the choice of enjoying a smooth ride along the coastline or challenging climbs of the surrounding hills and mountains. If you're riding on your own, maps and advice will happily be provided by our staff. Please note guests have to be 13yrs or older to use the bikes in resort.
Another way to remain active during a stay at Paleros is with the choice of fitness classes available. From gentle morning stretches to fast-paced HIIT, there will be classes for all abilities throughout the day, so you can enjoy your work out before heading to the beach to relax (or vice-versa). Our friendly, qualified instructor will work with you on your goals while creating a fun environment.
Outside of the school holidays, our resorts are extremely popular with adult guests or adults with pre-school age children. A more adult atmosphere sweeps the resort and activities are less busy meaning there's more time to perfect newly learnt skills.
Travelling solo? Our free introduction sailing and windsurfing lessons, social tennis sessions and guided bike tours are the perfect way to get chatting to other adults. Or if you are looking forward to some 'me' time, there is no pressure to join in at all. You can take part as much or as little as you like.
