What’s the weather like in Greece?

Greece enjoys a glorious Mediterranean climate, with hot, dry summers - especially in July and August, when temperatures often climb to around 33°C (91°F). These peak months are perfect family holidays and watersports enthusiasts, offering long sunny days, balmy evenings and al fresco dining.

For a more relaxed experience, consider visiting in June or September. The weather remains warm and dry, but with fewer crowds - perfect for sightseeing or learning or improving at a new sport. 

If you’re travelling with young children, May and October are excellent alternatives. These shoulder months offer mild temperatures and plenty of sunshine, perfect for outdoor activities.
