First time at Phokaia resort and it has by far the best layout of all the Mark Warner resorts. The only main thing that let it down were the prices for additional items, such as drinks and snacks. It is just not necessary to charge so much when local prices are a fraction of what was being charged. The atmosphere in the bars would be far better if prices were lower to encourage more people out in the evenings. The staff were excellent and helpful but you are also sharing the hotel with a number of local guests.

A beautiful resort. Spotless. Nice rooms. A huge variety of great activities. Delicious Food We had a fabulous week with our 17 year old daughter who made great friends in the Indy club. Some of the staff were a bit rude at times but this didn't spoil the holiday and we would still Highly recommend.

Great holiday, lots of fun activities included. Hotel room was great, clean and spacious with a lovely little balcony. The hotel grounds were spotless and well-kept. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice little town nearby to have a stroll to. Great for adults and kids alike.

Great food, plenty of activities, well run and very clean. Drinks expensive though and not enough boats (high performance). Excellent fitness classes (Kara) and very good tennis instruction.

This is a great place for a holiday with kids, plenty of activities, spacious hotel and pool area, right next to beach. Great for sailing and watersports, also on tap tennis nad padel.
Food average-good. friendly helpful staff.

Overall a fabulous holiday! The sunsets are stunning, the service and staff are brilliant and the food is varied and delicious. The watersports and various activities kept us all entertained and the resort is kept spotlessly clean. We had a wonderful time and the resort is charming in its simplicity.
The only thing I may change would be to expand the beach bar and its hours, introduce a padel or pickle ball court and refresh the rooms as it hey are a little tired looking.
Overall a great place for a chilled holiday

Whilst we had a good holiday there were areas that really could be improved and I am still torn between rating a 3 or a 4.
Key factors include:
Accommodation - much needs updating the improving particularly in the Village apartments which are tired and dated.
Childcare - felt half hearted and under staffed - my son was in a group of 14 with one childcarer. The activities were really unimaginative eg: 1 hour allocated to get an ice-cream from the bar (billed to our room) and hours of Uno and 21! There could be more pool and spots activities ... especially tennis as the courts were empty! And table tennis which is surely simple?
Tennis and Padel - you need a second padel court and URGENTLTY need shade by the padel court! The tennis team could run so many more sessions and be more inclusive to younger players which would create more activity on court. And the Evening Tennis was limited to over 18 ... not inclusive!
Evening entertainment - everyone loves Rock the Room, the quiz and tennis night, but 2 x nights of a bad DJ and and terrible guitarist is NOT great
Food - the quality of the food was not great - really greasy and repetitive. And the hotel need more staff to clear tables - we were clearing our own tables.
Our kids had a great time because they made good friends and love the watersports ... these were great as the wind helps!!!

The holiday was great but 2 minor gripes .. happy hour only have 10% discount on drinks. Also, my family and I became slightly I’ll (probably food poisoning) from one of the restaurants and nobody tried to address this situation on anyway.
