Tennis is a sport that we are passionate about all year round at Mark Warner. Whether you fancy a social game, a gentle knock up or want to improve your technique, there will be something for you to get involved in at our summer resorts. We have over 24 tennis courts across our hotels in Greece and Turkey and love welcoming tennis enthusiasts of all abilities to try their hand at this great sport.
As well as being great exercise and mental stimulation, tennis is a very sociable game and we encourage guests to join in with social matches and play with others of the same standard. We offer beach tennis for those who want to enjoy a relaxed game by the sea at sunset and our ‘tipsy tennis’ sessions are a chance for guests to head down to the bar and partake in a fun game with the coaches. If you want to improve your skills (minus the cocktails!) and seriously up your game, we have a range of additional sessions on offer, including private lessons as well as specific classes for improving your serve and cardio drills.
We are also hosting Intensive Tennis Weeks this year at Paleros Beach Resort on 21st May and 24th September, 2023. A full week of tennis at one of our picturesque resorts is a great option if you’d like to be trained by our LTA-qualified coaches and take your skills to the next level! The week comprises of 20 hours of workshops, coaching and coach-led sessions, doubles workshops, a 45-minute private lesson, and evening social match play and mix-ins. One week of specialised coaching, Sunday to Sunday, for £300 per person, these weeks are becoming increasingly popular and guests enjoy spending 4 hours a day picking up advanced tips and tactics, balanced with social dinners and entertainment to be enjoyed with your course mates and coaches!
Our Phokaia Beach Resort in the beautiful Foca, Turkey has four floodlit courts and a superb team of coaches, so book a visit this summer if you’d like to be one of the first to test out the great tennis facilities on offer.
