Fitness gear worth working out for

14 Jun 2017

Gone are the days of old t-shirts and tracksuit bottoms, it’s now all about ‘Activewear’ or ‘Athleisure’ – a trend so popular it has earned an entry into the Dictionary, which defines it as “casual clothing meant to be worn both for exercising and for general use.”

Here at Mark Warner we love activewear and would spend most of the day in it if we could. A perfect choice for our sporty guests who love to hit the tennis court, go for a spin on our bikes or take on one of our fitness classes.
We have chosen a few of our favourites this summer; all are bright and fun and of course perfect to get active in.

HEAD
Known for their tennis gear, HEAD have transformed their offering in recent years and we love their bright prints. Much more fun than traditional tennis whites…..

Sweaty Betty

The essential brand for the fashion conscious fitness fanatic. We love this crazy cactus print. For those not so daring try the leggings with a plain sporty tee.

Sweaty Betty Cactus Leggings – £55
Sweaty Betty Cactus Top – £45

Gap

Every gym bunny needs a bag to stash their equipment and we really like this one for Gap. At £34.95 it’s great value, plus the design is current and sporty.

Gap Honeycomb quilted backpack – £34.95

Speedo

We all remember Speedo from school, but this well-established brand now has modern designs at reasonable prices.

Boom Allover Muscleback Swimsuit – £33

Zakti

It’s always good to have something to throw on post your workout to stop your muscles seizing up and why be boring. We think this fun Zakti jacket is perfect.

Zakti Bomber Jacket – £40
