There is truly something for all levels of expertise with easy rides for everyone to much more challenging cross country and single track rides for the advanced. Mountain bikers in Sardinia sample challenging and extreme trails with steep hills and dirt track dissents.
Our expert guides are on hand to offer advice, run tours and set up bikes for you. There are lots of tours on offer throughout the week that you are free to join whenever you wish. If you are a novice then start out by joining the easy rides where basic skills are practised and then progress onto the more challenging tours on offer. Dotted along the coast there are some great little café and restaurants, why not grab a bike and head out for lunch. There are some real gems to be found, just ask any of the staff who will be more than happy to point you in the right direction.
One of our favourites is the Perdepera Beach tour, which runs along the impressive eight kilometre beach to a relaxing rest at a café. For the energetic you can continue onto the local market town of Barisardo, a chance to explore a truly traditional Sardinian town. Both are excellent preparation for the more challenging tours.
South of the hotel there is dramatic scenery and wonderful coastal cycling! This is where the more challenging rides are found. There is a steady five kilometre road climb up to a high peak – where you are rewarded with some great views back towards the hotel. From here you can either turn around for an exhilarating ride back or continue on the Marina de Garro waterfalls medium tour or go off road and explore hidden valleys on one of the advanced single track rides through to Horseshoe Cape.
