Liam has been actively involved in tennis for over 10 years. Competing as a junior and playing men’s premier team tennis he then went on to obtain his coaching qualifications and achieved level 3 by the age of 18, being the youngest on the course to pass. Whilst studying on a scholarship at The Harefield Academy he also worked part time as a tennis coach at Virgin Active’s Northwood club, a high performance indoor tennis facility. He also helped at local school’s tennis in getting the younger ages interested in the sport. He then went on to work full time during the 2015-2016 year and was the youngest full time coach employed at the time.
Liam has been lucky enough to have worked with a range of ages and abilities helping widen his coaching techniques and styles to a variety of different players. He likes to keep the drills fun and fresh making time on court enjoyable whilst learning and improving a persons game. He’s run plenty of adult and junior group coaching sessions as well as individual lessons for all levels. Alongside the coaching he has refereed small LTA tournaments for the juniors.
