There’s a reason why so many guests at San Lucianu resort take to the water when they stay here with us. Whether you’re a seasoned veteran on a board or the idea of trying to balance on a board and let the wind guide you is a completely foreign idea, you’ll love the opportunity to windsurf here.
We can help anyone enjoy the chance to windsurf off the Corsican coast. At the resort guests can avail of group lessons and private lessons (upon request). With our qualified instructors, you can learn all the basics of windsurfing very quickly and be out in the water in no time at all.
Also, you’ll be happy knowing that we have all the top equipment at hand to make it as safe as possible.
The water here at the resort is pretty good for windsurfing, and it’s seen as something of an intermediate spot for windsurfing.
If you’re completely new to the whole thing, we recommend getting lessons and taking yourself out in the morning, as winds tend to pick up the later in the day when experienced surfers hit the water.
There are a variety of boards available for all sizes from highly regarded brands like Futura and Starboard. Our trusted Royal Yacht Association (RYA) qualified staff will help figure out which board suits you best during lessons, and don’t be afraid to ask them any questions at all you have about windsurfing. Even if it’s the first time, no question is too silly.

Windsurfing lessons are included in the holiday package for San Lucianu resort (some charges may apply depending on the type of lesson). You’ll see the timetable at the resort lets you know when you can pop down for a lesson to get to grips with everything. The lessons go all the way from beginner to anyone who wants to finesse their technique and have a qualified instructor catch any bad habits that can be improved upon. There are some intense windsurfing courses available too at certain times of the summer, and you can find all the information for that on our windsurfing holidays page.
We do have dedicated lessons for kids aged 10 to 13 as part of a week-long course. These courses are quite popular, so we do recommend that anyone interested does book ahead before their holiday to get a space. The average price for a course is £50, teaching how to get used to being on a board in the water and sailing across the wind.
