For some people, the second you get on that plane to Corsica you’re officially in holiday mode, and that means nothing but lounging by the pool or beach and doing as close to absolutely nothing as possible.
For others, as soon you get to go on holiday you want to explore, get out there and do everything you never have the chance to do at home because you’re finally on holiday.
If you love trying out new things, then you’re going to love getting outdoors at San Lucianu Beach Resort. We have activities that will keep you busy all day long; from hitting the waves to tackling the hills, and that’s before you can even think about exploring to find waterfalls.
Here’s a short guide on some of the action-packed activities we have on offer.
Waking up every morning to the view of an unspoilt beach is something else. With a long sandy beach at the edge of the resort, you’ll be spoiled with the variety of watersports we have on offer.
The average wind speed is around 2-3 on the Beaufort scale, making it ideal for sailing and windsurfing. You can take it easy with a bit of kayaking or get up early to watch the sunrise while stand-up paddleboarding.
You can find out everything you need to know about getting in the water and having fun at our San Lucianu watersports page
Kids can make a splash too with certain watersports scheduled into the kid’s club that run throughout the day. You can see what watersports are suitable for each group on our family summer holidays page.
After a quick dry off you can really get to grips with this beautiful island. From our location in the east, you’ll be able to wind through some of the most stunning coastal roads in Europe thanks to the guided bike tours you can take. There are routes designed for all skill levels, so you can take it easy along the coastal roads or push it to the limit trailing up and downhill.
Fancy staying at the resort instead? You’ll see them on the left as you come in, but even if you’re not that great, pop along to the tennis courts any time of day to have a go and see how good your serve is. The resort is very lucky to have an LTA accredited coaching programme guests can take part in. You’ll become a tennis whizz in no time.
And just because you’re on holiday doesn’t mean you have to abandon your fitness routine. There are daily classes taking place at the Aerobics area down by the beach. The view alone will beat the thought of having to drag yourself to the gym.
There are also some fun little activities dotted around the resort, so keep an eye out for table tennis, beach volleyball and boules.
