With an impressive 600km of pistes for all abilities, Méribel is a great destination for families and groups looking for unforgettable snowboarding holidays. Off-slopes, the resort also has plenty to offer including fun activities and fantastic nightlife that will suit all tastes. Stay at one of our chalets in Méribel and enjoy close proximity to the village amenities as well as pistes and snowboarding areas.
Méribel is a popular destination among snowboarders, here is what guests will be able to enjoy during their trip:
With an extensive skiing and snowboarding area, it’s no wonder that Méribel is so popular with snowboarders. As well as 600km of pistes, the resort boasts 2 snowparks and 2 half pipes! Runs are suitable for beginners, intermediates and advanced snowboarders and altitude goes up to 3230m!
Those looking to get lessons in order to learn the basics or improve their technique will find ski and snowboard schools not far from the hotel – including Oxygene, our partner. Their team of seasoned instructors will be able to help you work on your technique, so you feel confident to go off on your own or tackle more challenging runs.
As well as snowboarding, guests will be able to explore Méribel and its bustling nightlife: traditional restaurants, modern bars, live entertainment… And with the plethora of off-slope activities available, you won’t find yourself short of things to do! Icefall climbing, dog sledding, paragliding, ice skating and even swimming in the local sports centre are only a few examples of what you can do!
Guests looking to travel to Méribel have the choice of Chalet Hotel Tarentaise – a family-friendly hotel near the pistes - and Chalet Loden – a welcoming and cosy retreat suitable for up to 12 guests at any one time.
Chalet Hotel Tarentaise is centrally located, giving you easy access to main lifts, pistes and schools. The hotel restaurant serves delicious and local food throughout the day while the hotel bar allows guests to unwind or have pre-dinner drinks. The hotel spa offers a large choice of treatments that will be perfect to soothe muscles after an active day on the slopes. The chalet hotel has interconnecting rooms, family rooms and even mini apartments, welcoming larger groups and families.
Chalet Loden is a more intimate retreat - still never far from the action! – that can even be entirely booked as a group. A resident chef will make sure that you have delicious food to fuel your activities 6 days a week (letting you explore the local restaurants on the chef’s day off!).
As part of the Mark Warner experience, we offer you the ability to hire your snowboard equipment when booking your holiday. Select the child and adult equipment you need (board, boots) and it will be ready for you to collect at the shop upon arrival.
We can also arrange for lift passes to be collected at the hotel – simply pre-book your passes before leaving the UK and we’ll have them ready. You can choose to stay in Méribel or go out and explore the Three Valleys – family passes and children passes are available.
