If you are looking for an organised party in Val d’Isère, then look no further than the many après ski parties which pop up around the town and on the mountain at around 3pm. With international DJ’s blaring beats across the mountain range the Folie Douce is the place to be if you are looking for a lively après on the mountain. The Cocorico bar located at the bottom of the Solaise bubble lift is the town’s equivalent to La Folie Douce with champagne showers and table dancing.
After enjoying one of the après ski parties, there are a number of organised events throughout the town. La Folie Douce closes at 5pm however Cocorico continues the fun until 10pm with a live DJ playing from 6pm-10pm.
In terms of late night parties, Val d’Isère has a number of bars and clubs which are open until the small hours. The Doudoune Club is popular all season long with a number of organised club nights throughout the season and is open from 11pm to 5am. Open until 4am, the club often has guest appearances throughout the season as well as a fantastic resident DJ which keeps the crowds coming back for more. Opened in 1979, Dick’s Tea Bar is one of the places to see and be seen at in Val d’Isère and with its long history of providing entertainment to the international jet-set, is easy to understand why.
