Paragliding in Méribel

There aren’t many views more breath taking than from the top of a snow topped mountain on a blue sky day, gazing over the rolling peaks in the distance. Experience these breath taking mountain views from a whole new perspective by paragliding above the mountains. Whether it is your first time or you have been before, a paragliding tour over Méribel is a unique way to view the town.

Try something new

Paragliding not only offers spectacular views of the mountains it also gives you the opportunity to try something new and exciting. With such spectacular scenery, there’s no better place to try paragliding than in Méribel. As one of the fastest growing air sports in the world, paragliding is rapidly becoming the ‘must try’ activity while skiing. Known as parapenting in France, there are a number of places offering paragliding trips from Méribel. Along with an experienced guide, paragliders can explore the Trois Vallees from above.

If you have been paragliding before, it is possible to take a solo flight or in tandem. If you are a bit of a dare devil, you can opt for a more exciting paragliding experience, where the driver will spin you around the sky at speed. For those looking to try something new whilst on their ski trip, paragliding is the ideal activity, providing you with a unique experience and the opportunity to see the mountains from a new perspective.

Other activities in Méribel

As well as paragliding, there are a number of different, non-ski related activities to try. For families looking to keep the children busy in the evenings, Méribel has plenty to offer. Explore the snowy landscape on a dog sledding trip. Both children and adults love this fun, alpine activity. Méribel also has a well-equipped leisure centre where you will find a swimming pool, an indoor ice rink and fitness centre. Dare devils can try their hand at ice climbing where you have the opportunity to ascend frozen walls of ice.

Central location

You won’t miss a minute of the action whilst in Méribel when staying at  Mark Warner’s property in Meribel. Chalet Loden is located close to the pistes with spectacular views over the valley.
