With gorgeous views over the village of Méribel, and easy access to the slopes, the Chalet Loden is a traditionally styled chalet with antique furniture, elegantly styled rooms and a superb fine-dining experience. With room for just 12 guests, the chalet has two live in staff and a wonderful resident chef, who ensure that your every need is catered for in a delightful home from home atmosphere.
Our staff will prepare you a freshly cooked breakfast every morning or choose a continental option, with pastries, juice and coffee. When you return from the slopes, they will have laid out afternoon tea, with a selection of mouth-wateringly indulgent home-made cakes. As you move into the evening, they’ll serve you canapés by the log fire, followed by a luxurious three course dinner accompanied by superior wines and rounded off with a local cheeseboard.
Each of the bedrooms (two doubles and four twins) are individually styled and designed to spoil you further. The chalet just oozes charm and comfort. Sink into the overstuffed sofas and armchairs and watch the flicker of flames in the fireplace, or enjoy a game of table tennis in the games room. When the sun’s shining, you can relax outdoors on the south facing balcony which stretches along the entire side of the living room. There’s even satellite television, wireless music speaker and free WiFi for all the comforts of home.
Children over the age of seven are welcome at Chalet Loden if the chalet is completely reserved by one group. Ages 16+ are welcome on all dates. They will also point you in the direction of some great fun activities around and about including piste basher rides, tobogganing, ice skating, ten-pin bowling and the indoor swimming pool.

Chalet Loden has a resident chef who will ensure you are well nourished for a day on the slopes. Our staff will prepare you a freshly cooked breakfast every morning besides the chefs day off, or choose a continental option with pastries, juice and coffee. When you return from the slopes, they will have laid out your afternoon tea, with a selection of mouth-wateringly indulgent home-made cakes.
As you move into the evening, they’ll serve you canapés by the log fire, followed by a luxurious three course dinner accompanied by superior wines and rounded off with a local cheeseboard.
One evening a week dinner is not served in the chalet allowing you the opportunity to dine out at one of the excellent local restaurants.
Our chalet team will assist with arrangements for lift passes when you arrive in resort. The two most popular passes are the Méribel Valley lift pass and the 3 Valleys pass.
The Méribel Valley lift pass provides unlimited access to the Méribel Valley ski area. With 150km of pistes this pass will suit you if you're a complete beginner or a skier or boarder with 1 to 2 weeks experience. If you don't plan to ski hard all day, everyday then this pass will be ideal.
The 3 Valleys is a vast ski area with 600km of pistes linking Courchevel, Méribel, Mottaret, Les Menuires, La Tania and Val Thorens. You don't have to be an expert skier or boarder to ski the 3 Valleys, this pass allows you the freedom to explore beyond the Méribel Valley. The 3 Valleys lift pass also includes one day's skiing in Val d'Isère, Tignes, La Plagne and Les Arcs giving you the opportunity to ski resorts further afield too.
At the Chalet Loden you can pre-book ski and snowboarding equipment with 'Ski Higher' who provides quality equipment, good customer service and value for money. They offer a mobile delivery service and will drop the equipment straight to the hotel as well as collect it at the end of your stay.
