Ocean Club Beach Resort
Running alongside a long stretch
of beach, Ocean Club Beach Resort is unique in that it's
spread throughout the village. It is a
superb location for those looking for a little more
independence. There are championship golf courses
nearby, and a 5 court tennis centre on site with
our professional coaching programme.
Accommodation
Accommodation is in fully
furnished apartments, clustered in different areas around the
village, all about a 10 minute walk from our facilities. There are
one or two bed apartments available, some have gardens and
overlook the pool, others have sea views. And each has a balcony or
terrace, fully equipped kitchen and maid service three times a
week. Please see below for a full break down of the room types.
Dining
Dining arrangements include
delicious buffet breakfasts every day and dinner on 5
evenings at the resort's "Mill" Restaurant. There is an
evening of music from the sixties and beyond with Ella
& Frankie at the Mill Restaurant during the
week. There are also a number of other restaurants
and bars in the village which are well worth a
visit. There are well stocked supermarkets, all
a short walk from the accommodation, should you simply prefer
lunch on your terrace or balcony.
Watersports
The watersports centre offers
sailing,
windsurfing and canoeing on
a pay as you go basis. Childrens watersports are
included as part of the kids club activity programme. For most
of the season the seas are generally calm, but the Atlantic swell
can sometimes limit watersports
activities. When the waves are breaking, conditions are often
great for surfing, and we
can arrange lessons with a local surf school.
Tennis lessons
If you're a tennis player, Ocean Club ticks all
the boxes as a perfect tennis holiday destination and is one
of our specialist coaching centres. There are five tennis
courts and we operate a full coaching programme for adults and
children and the specialist Academy Course, please see

Golf
The Ocean Club is a superb resort for keen
golfers. There are three golf courses in the area, for which
we've negotiated discounted green fees, Boavista, Parque de
Floresta and Palmares. And the championship course Penina, where
the Portuguse open has been played is only 20 minutes away. Please

Other activities
The resort's location is a great base from which to go
exploring. We offer guided mountain bike tours
and walks throughout the week taking you to many
different places of interest in the region. Alternatively hire a
bike and explore by yourself or with the family.
For those who want to stay closer to
home we offer aerobics and
fitness classes throughout the week.
Childcare
There are 5 childcare clubs - The
Toddler Club and the Mini Club which operate throughout the
season, and the Junior, Kidz and
Indy Clubs operate on the following dates:
Junior/Kidz Clubs - 3rd May - 29th August
& 18th - 31st October
Indy Club - 12th July - 29th August
