The sun soaked island of Kos, is the idyllic setting for
our Lakitira Beach Resort. Located on the south of the
island, looking out over the glittering Aegean, it combines the
leisurely pace of Greek island life with every imaginable
activity.
Set in four acres of flower filled gardens and
with two beach areas, this beach resort offers plenty of
space for everyone and has first class facilities.
There are 3 restaurants:
The Trattoria di Mauro serving delicious pizza and pasta
buffets at lunchtime and an la carte menu at dinner. The
quaint courtyard Taverna Platia which is open for a
continental breakfast every morning and traditional Greek menu
in the evening brimming with regional specialities, Mezze
and fresh fish. The main hotel restaurant "The
Terrace" serves breakfast and dinner offering
plentiful buffets and grills.
Your holiday price includes dining on a
half board basis (breakfast in Taverna Platia or the
Main Restaurant and dinner taken in the Main
restaurant). If you wish to upgrade to the full board
package, lunch can be taken from the buffet of hot dishes
and pizzas and extenstive salad bar in the Trattoria di
Mauro .

There are four bars at Lakitira; one each at the
swimming pools, the family pool bar being popular in the evening,
where you can sit on the terrace overlooking the beach and watch
the sun go down. The Beach Bar with plenty of shade and the
main hotel bar.

Salon, waiting to tempt you with a vast menu of massage and
beauty treatments, and a well stocked resort shop selling all
holiday essentials.
The accommodation at Lakitira is spread across the entire
resort and offers whitewashed villa-style apartments
("the village") or fabulous refurbished rooms in the
hotel, both comprising suites, junior suites, interconnecting
rooms and twins. We have designated parts of the hotel
accommodation as child-free meaning those travelling
without children enjoy plenty of quiet space.
Lakitira Hotel
The hotel rooms are newly refurbished in
a modern, contemporary design with spacious interior. All
rooms have en-suite bathrooms, air-conditioning, flat screen t.v's,
safes, fridges and tea & coffee making facilities.
Standard Twin: 2 single
beds. Can take a cot and extra bed. Terrace or
balcony
Premium Twin: As per Twin room but superior
location and view.
Double: 1 double bed. Can take a cot and
extra bed. Terrace or balcony
Premium Double: As per Double room but a
superior location and view.
Premium Interconnecting Room: Either 2
twin rooms or a double & twin with connecting
door. Both rooms can take an extra bed and cot, are en-suite
with terrace or balcony.
Junior Suite: 1 double room connecting to a
small lounge area with 2 small sofa beds and terrace. Rooms
can also take a cot.
Premium Junior Suite: As per Junior Suite but
have a superior location and view.
Suite: A double room connecting to
a lounge area with 2 sofa beds and a terrace, can take an extra bed
or a cot. Bathroom, WC & dressing room.
Lakitira Village
All the rooms in the village have en-suite bathrooms,
air-conditioning, hairdyrers, safes, tea & coffee facilities,
fridge and complimentary toiletries.
Large Twin: 2 single beds
and 1 extra bed as standard. En-suite bathroom. Can take 2 cots and
2 extra beds. Can be joined with mini apartments situated on the
1st floor.
Premium Large Twin: As per Large Twin but
a superior location and view.
Mezzanine Suite: Entrance door to triple
room (3 single beds). Up to main bedroom (2 single
beds) at mezzanine level and overlooking the ground floor
room. 1 x shower room and 1
bathroom. Terrace area at ground floor level.
Suite: Entrance door to triple room
(3 single beds). Staircase leading to main
bedroom (2 single beds) with separate entrance door. Each room
is en-suite.
Premium Suite: As per suite, but a superior
location and view.
Premium Interconnecting Room: 2 Twin rooms
both can take a cot or an extra bed, and both are
en-suite. Situated on ground and first floors.
Mini Apartment: 2 rooms, each
with entrance door leading into bedroom. Situated on
the 1st floor. Can be joined with a ground floor large twin room.
The mini apartments are made up of either 3 twin
rooms (includes a large twin) or 2 twin rooms (1st floor
rooms only)
Premium Mini Apartment: As per mini apartment
but a superior location and view.
