Overview

Practise on the Golf Academy driving range and putting green, before you enjoy a game of golf on the gorgeously landscaped 9-hole course set amid the pine groves, where professional tuition is available if you want to improve your game. Tennis enthusiasts can play well into the evening on the floodlit clay courts or relax after a morning game with one of the pampering spa therapies or in one of the resort’s five swimming pools. Personal trainers are also on hand to help you with your fitness programme. 

Accommodation

The elegant, oversized bedrooms in the hotel pay homage to the Algarve’s Moorish and Portuguese influences and offer a private balcony or terrace. Each has magnificent views of the cliffs overlooking the Atlantic coast and the majestic Monchique Mountains in the far distance or of the pristine gardens wrapped around the hotel. Choose from double, twin or suite rooms. Interconnecting rooms are available for families.

Alternatively, you can stay in the Pine Cliffs Residences – two or three bedroom apartments each with their own fully equipped kitchenette and en-suite bathrooms leading off the master bedroom. 

Dining

The resort showcases some of the finest dishes Portugal has to offer, drawing on the country’s rich and diverse culinary traditions. Jardim Colonial, the hotel’s main restaurant, offers a mixture of traditional and international cuisines, providing an extensive buffet that features a different theme every day. There’s a fantastic range of pasta and delicious sauces to choose from, and kids even have their own buffet specially prepared to cater for children’s tastes.

Located next to the Jardim Colonial is the Il Giardino Italian restaurant with its crisp white table linen, wicker seating and intimate feel. Choose from specialities such as Beef Tenderloin al Barolo e Ravioli featuring a cinnamon-scented Barolo wine sauce on ricotta ravioli. Other restaurants make extensive use of the fresh local seafood and fish, or feature rich Moroccan tagines.
