La Plagne

France France

You'll feel on top of the world in La Plagne where most of the runs are between 2000m amd 2700m, which in turn contributes to the resort's snow-sure reputation. Beginners will love the generous nursery slopes right on the doorstep of our chalethotel Christina. Book the special Learn to Ski package and you'll soon graduate to the multitude of blue runs, which give second week skiers the chance to spread their wings and discover the thrill of high mileage skiing. Experts set their sights on the Bellcote glacier with its superb long black pistes and untracked powder slopes - a rare opportunity to ski descents of more than 2000 vertical metres.

And there's more! Take the spectacular double-decker Vanoise Express cable car to the Paradiski ski area of La Plagne and Les Arcs to open up over 425kms of piste skiing.

In addition to the fabulous ski area - La Plagne has great apres-ski and nightlife. Our own "Scotty's Bar" with a large sunny terrace at the foot of the slopes is a popular spot among the many other bars and restaurants. For the more adventurous there's always the chance to try your hand on the Olympic bobsleigh run.
