Courchevel 1850

France France

So stylish

The place to ski and be seen, Courchevel is a premier, somewhat designer resort. Situated at the heart of the Savoie Alps, it shares 600km of seamless pistes with neighbouring Méribel, Les Menuires and Val Thorens.

Ideal for skiers of all standards

Perfect gentle pistes run through the centre of the resort - this a great place for beginners to potter about. Steeper, higher altitude slopes include the fan of couloirs, just below La Saulire.

Spectacular glacier skiing

Stronger skiers adore speeding over the snow on the Val Thorens glacier. There are also some great long runs and off-piste slopes on Mont Vallon and La Masse.

The best restaurants

Your taste buds will be tantalised in Courchevel. The variety of cuisine all tastes and budgets from Michelin-starred restaurants to great value and buzzing pizzerias.

Action on and off the slopes

True, the skiing is fantastic, but there are loads of other things to do too. Ice skating, bowling, squash, snow shoeing, tobogganing, parascending… to name just a few.
