Chalethotel Cygnaski - Reviews

From the moment we arrived the staff at Chalet Hotel Cygnaski made us feel like nothing was too much trouble, including making clear which member of the team we should talk to about different aspects of the holiday. The lounge and bar area has a very homely feel, and afternoon tea became one of the highlights of each day. Having travelled with most of the UK's ski operators, I was extremely impressed with the ski hosting service and would recommend that even the most advanced skiers take advantage of it. The rooms and bathrooms offer basic amenities but are more spacious than I have come to expect from the French Alps and the location on Val d'Isere's main street could not be better. The restaurant reminded me of a canteen at times but the service, hearty food and free-flowing wine more than made up for this. The ski hire service, in which your skis are delivered and picked up from the chalethotel, is another bonus. I would highly recommend the Chalet Hotel Cygnaski for families with young children and first-time skiers in particular. Bring on winter 2012/13!
