As many of you will know, due to a French court case last year Mark Warner and all other British ski companies won’t be operating our usual ski hosting programme in France this season. The St Anton region of Austria has also followed suit so our hosts in France and Austria won’t now be able to ski with our guests.
Although this is not a perfect situation we will endeavour to operate winter hosting to the highest standard possible to enable our guests to get the most out of their ski holiday.
There will still be Winter Hosts in every French and Austrian Chalet Hotel and the moment you arrive at the airport, our hosts will be on hand to help. They will accompany you on the transfer from the airport to resort, answering any questions you might have and once you get to resort they will have pre-booked lift passes ready for collection. In the mornings they will give advice about different levels of ski groups direct groups towards the best pistes and snow conditions.
We know from years of guest feedback that hosting is a great way to meet and interact with fellow guests and we don’t want that to change. Our Winter Hosts will arrange and pre-book lunch stops so that all groups can meet (if they so wish) and socialise together. In the evening they will never be far from the Chalet Hotel bar and restaurant on hand to arrange and host social drinks and dinner tables.
In Italy our hosting will continue as usual with 4 1/2 days in Courmayeur.
