La Plagne - Reviews

Having taken our first Mark Warner Holiday at San Augustino Greece Last summer were we was very well looked after by George,the hotel manager and his team, So much so we booked our Christmas week Holiday with them just hoping another hotel could live up to the same high standards, Well let me tell you, Jen, her team and resort really exceeded all our expectation, Although the hotel was small in comparison and on arrival we started to worry we would not be able to escape a load of screaming kids we could not have been further from the truth. The hotel was quite with plenty of area's to relax throughout the Day if not skiing, If you do have Children,its great to see some of the same staff in the child care team from Greece (Hi Abby n tim!!)even though we had no children with us the feed back from other Parents was great and when you do see the children they are always well looked after enjoying themselves, So well done Charlotte and the Childcare team. The Bar staff were great and friendly ( hope Becca is feeling better from her accident) Max did you proud! All the food was good could possibly do with a bit more choice but what we did order was good. (Scotty's bar..(since our break I've read a bad review,So I just had to add to my son-in-laws original review)as it seems some people only point out the negatives... Our party's ages was 37-66yrs... Anchovies was missed off my daughters 1st Caesar salad..but not the next 5 c/s that followed over the week!!! Did it spoil our holiday..NO.. Never did I think I'd enjoy pizzas as much! I have to point out that I'm a lady in her 60th-plus year.. 1st Christmas being widowed.. I do not ski.. BUT I COULD walk in to that bar of an afternoon on my own,have a drink watching the skiers ski by..not feeling out of place or uncomfortable.. So Big Thank you..Kit(manager) & his team.. Well done and we look forward to many more holidays with Mark Warner..

This was our first Mark Warner holiday and we were very impressed. The Christina could not be in a better location – right on the piste and with 4 lifts right outside. It was also very handy for the shops and bars in Plagne Centre. The staff were fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble and we’ve never had our bags carried before! The ski hosting was excellent, better than any I’ve experienced before and we made some good friends in our ski group who we plan to go away with next year. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw afternoon tea! So much variety and all extremely tasty. The same goes for the breakfasts. There was also decent quality wine with dinner. All in all we had a fabulous week’s holiday – one of the best – and we will be going with Mark Warner again.
