You'll feel on top of the world in La Plagne where most of the runs are between 2000m and 2700m, which in turn contributes to the resort's snow-sure reputation. Beginners will love the generous nursery slopes right on the doorstep of our Chalet hotel Christina. Book the special Learn to Ski package and you'll soon graduate to the multitude of blue runs, giving new skiers the chance to spread their wings and discover the thrill of high mileage skiing. Experts set their sights on the Bellcote glacier with its superb long black pistes and untracked powder slopes - a rare opportunity to ski descents of more than 2000 vertical metres. And there's more! Take the spectacular double-decker Vanoise Express cable car to the Paradiski ski area of La Plagne and Les Arcs to open up over 425kms of piste skiing.

First time with Mark Warner, my expectations were high but they were met. Brilliant hotel location. Balcony view was just the best. Luggage was brought up to my shared room, which I had to myself. If you rent your ski's from Oxygen, they will transport them to and from the hotel for you. Accommodation is outdated but it wasn't an issue. The staff were on ball at all times, were very helpful and easily approachable. The food menu was very good, apart from the slight lack of vegetables. Afternoon tea did have a mixture of both sweet and savory, but nothing appealed to me. The ski 'group' is very good to meet and ski/ board with people the same speed, experience and skill level as yourself. If music prevents you from sleeping then ask for a room on the 3rd/4th floor as Scotty's (bar) music is easily heard from lower levels. I plan to return to this hotel in later years. Best winter holiday from memory.

Have just returned from a fantastic week at hotel Christina, we were a large group of 31 ranging from 9mnths to 65yrs of skiers and non skiers. The customer service was exemplary and staff just couldn't do enough for us. The staff delivered our luggage to our room on arrival and collect it from our room on departure. The hotel is tired but that goes unnoticed as the location is impeccable, overlooking the slopes and ski to door. The food was fantastic and plentiful, the children's meals were perfect with plenty of choice to suit all. Childcare was exceptional with all the children in the group enjoying all the activities provided and asking to go everyday! Evening club was a bonus that some of the children attended and enjoyed. We were apprehensive of using oxygene ski school as we have used ESF for many years, we were not disappointed and the children enjoyed very high standard ski lessons. We are very much looking forward to booking our next trip to hotel Christina for 2015, I would go back in a heartbeat!

This was by far my best skiing holiday ever. The hotel offered everything we needed. The staff couldn't have done more for us, the service was 5 star plus. I was particularly amazed by the childcare staff. We have two young children and this was our first experience of using the childcare facility and it was incredible. The staff in particular Julie, Jenna and Leah really made us feel at ease about leaving our children and did a different and fun activities with them throughout the day. The food was also superb. The holiday was faultless, I would recommend this to anyone it suits all.

Superb flight with BA from Heathrow to Grenoble. Warm greeting at Grenoble Airport where the coaches are parked very close to the terminal. Very comfortable transfer to resort where of course we were met by our Mark Warner team. Just got off the coach and the Mark Warner staff took all our luggage straight to our room. Cool. Yes the hotel is clean and comfortable, it has a certain underlying dated charm but come here to experience piste side accommodation with true panoramic views. OK La Plagne Centre is no chocolate box but everything is covered in snow anyway! Great for piste basher fans as they are trucking past the hotel at regular intervals - awe..some. Boot/ski locker lovely and warm and in just a handful of steps you are on the piste. We chose this hotel for ski convenience and was certainly very pleased. We came with a group, to ski & party. Scotty's bar under the hotel ticked all the boxes for this. Thanks Kit. The hotel bar was very comfortable and friendly and we enjoyed playing pool and bar football. Hotel Manager Jen and the team were superb. A true can do attitude - that made our holiday so easy to enjoy. Would recommend to passionate skiers and apres ski fans and YES I would go back.

This was our third mark warner holiday. The location was perfect, right next to the piste and lifts. The availability of complementary hot drinks is a real bonus. The staff were great very friendly and helpful, always will to help. The food was plentiful, varied and of a very good quality. The child care was brilliant the kids enjoyed every day and we're kept busy with various activities. The hotel it's self was very tired and could do with some updating. Basic rooms some of which had very small bathrooms.

Had a great holiday - a little thing, the towels are not great. Probably best to advise clients to bring their own. Otherwise fab time and a lovely way to spend Christmas.

Having taken our first Mark Warner Holiday at San Augustino Greece Last summer were we was very well looked after by George, the hotel manager and his team, So much so we booked our Christmas week Holiday with them just hoping another hotel could live up to the same high standards, Well let me tell you, Jen, her team and resort really exceeded all our expectation, Although the hotel was small in comparison and on arrival we started to worry we would not be able to escape a load of screaming kids we could not have been further from the truth. The hotel was quite with plenty of area's to relax throughout the Day if not skiing, If you do have Children, its great to see some of the same staff in the child care team from Greece (Hi Abby n tim!!)even though we had no children with us the feed back from other Parents was great and when you do see the children they are always well looked after enjoying themselves, So well done Charlotte and the Childcare team. The Bar staff were great and friendly ( hope Becca is feeling better from her accident) Max did you proud! All the food was good could possibly do with a bit more choice but what we did order was good. (Scotty's bar..(since our break I've read a bad review,So I just had to add to my son-in-laws original review)as it seems some people only point out the negatives... Our party's ages was 37-66yrs... Anchovies was missed off my daughters 1st Caesar salad..but not the next 5 c/s that followed over the week!!! Did it spoil our holiday..NO.. Never did I think I'd enjoy pizzas as much! I have to point out that I'm a lady in her 60th-plus year.. 1st Christmas being widowed.. I do not ski.. BUT I COULD walk in to that bar of an afternoon on my own, have a drink watching the skiers ski by..not feeling out of place or uncomfortable.. So Big Thank you..Kit(manager) & his team.. Seb vettel (Finn).1,2,Alice,polly,p.c, &chris..) All in all it would seem that Mark Warner really have got thing right and truly understand that the secret behind a good company is great staff! Well done and we look forward to many more holidays with Mark Warner..

This was our first Mark Warner holiday and we were very impressed. The Christina could not be in a better location – right on the piste and with 4 lifts right outside. It was also very handy for the shops and bars in Plagne Centre. The staff were fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble and we’ve never had our bags carried before! The ski hosting was excellent, better than any I’ve experienced before and we made some good friends in our ski group who we plan to go away with next year. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw afternoon tea! So much variety and all extremely tasty. The same goes for the breakfasts. There was also decent quality wine with dinner. All in all we had a fabulous week’s holiday – one of the best – and we will be going with Mark Warner again.
