Chalethotel Dahu - Reviews

This holiday had a lot of strong positives. Skis and boots delivered and returned to the hotel by the hire shop - luxury!. Loads of good seating around the locker room for getting kit on and off. Good food (breakfast, afternoon tea and evening meals) Complimentary wine of good quality, compared to some of the petrol we've drunk elsewhere. Without exception, the staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful. Jet2 had decent legroom on plane too (I am 6'4) and Grenoble was a pleasure (if a bit quaint) compared to Chambery. Tons of hot water. Nice and quiet at night. So-so, communal areas nice. Bedrooms comfortable but in need of a spruce up. Two very minor gripes. Wifi at £15 per device!! is absolutely taking the mickey when spending this much on a holiday. Should be free. Secondly, smallest bath towels I've ever seen Overall, had a great week though. Will definitely be using MW again. 3 Valleys easily the best ski area and Courcheval is lovely. Have used all the majors now. MW is nudging out at the front of the pack.

Great trip again this year to the Dahu, excellent Mark Warner ski hosting and good quality of food. Staff were faultless, excellent value overall with skiing very close to the door. Already planning next Mark Warner ski trip, can't wait.

Best holiday ive had in a long time.We got very well looked after by the staff who all did a fantasic job and entertained us.We are both dirty boarders, who went along with a group of people riding these funny looking devices clicked onto each boot called skis.We loved every minute of it (hosting).A great group of people made the holiday one to remember.Food was fantastic and the wine flowed.Over far to quickly.Bloody good holiday :)

We had the most fantastic holiday at the Hotel Dahu. Our interconnecting rooms were spacious and very comfy with lots of cupboard space. Best side of the hotel is front as has balcony and nice view of the mountains. Hotel situated very close to the main lifts. The restaurant staff headed by Ben were exceptional, friendly and professional. Dean did a fantastic job in the kitchen and was an excellent chef producing amazing meals. Darren the general manager did everything to make our stay perfect . All the staff went out of their way to make it a very enjoyable holiday experience with the ski hosts Sean and Mike adding to the fun. Well done Mark Warner, its been some time since we last went on one of your ski holidays and it certainly won't be the last. I would thoroughly recommend you to family and friends. Many thanks.

Whilst the rooms in the hotel were perfectly adequate, the Dahu did look a little 'tired' and could do with a bit of a refurbishment. However, the location in relation to the lifts was excellent at only a 2 minute walk. This is an excellent resort, but I wouldn't recommend it for the complete beginner. I would definitely go on a Mark Warner ski trip again - the food was excellent, with a choice at every dinner, and the ski hosting is great if you are in a mixed ability party and want to do different things, or travelling alone.
