Angela Griffin holidays at Lakitira Beach Resort

Angela Griffin, currently starring in Waterloo Road on the BBC, holidayed at Lakitira with her husband and daughters Tallulah (aged 5) and Melissa (aged 1).  On her return we asked her all about it.

Why did you choose a Mark Warner holiday?
Childcare, childcare, childcare.
We wanted a holiday where everyone was looked after - even Mum and Dad, and the MW childcare gave us that flexibility.

What did you most like about the childcare?
The fact that all the nannies were English speaking and fully qualified.  Nothing seemed to faze them! My youngest was a bit nervous at first and need that bit of extra attention, so I always found her on her nanny's lap or close by her side.  Tallulah by contrast was racing about making new friends under their watchful eye.

What activities did you and your husband take part in?
Although it was lovely to sit and relax by the pool whilst the children were in childcare, we also played plenty of tennis, from group lessons to social tennis.  We never have time at home so it was great to get out on court every day.

Was their a holiday highlight?
Yes, the kids' entertainment show at the end of the week by far.  They all had their faces painted and were singing and dancing on stage with confidence.  It was great to see them all having fun together.

Did you explore outside of the resort?
Yes, we took a taxi into Kos Town one evening which was definitely worth it as there are loads of wonderful bars and restaurants tucked away down cute cobbled streets.

How would you sum up your holiday experience?
Everyone gets to have a holiday!
