About the Shadowbox

Shadowbox is the world's first 3D Sports Recorder.  The ShadowBox captures what you do and where you do it allows you to improve your performance through its analysis software and 3D viewing suite. The only waterproof GPS device with 3D ride display capabilities, the ShadowBox records the hangtime, distance, speed and height of every maneuver; the degrees of spin, roll, and flip for every trick; the G-forces, board trim, and speed at any given point, and is quickly becoming the primary choice for objectively capturing and measuring one's actions in a multitude of sports. This is done through a form of "sensor fusion," recording every aspect of a board's movement through gyroscopes, magnetometers, accelerometers, a pressure sensor and GPS module, all fitting into a device about the size of a deck of cards and weighing less than a quarter pound. The ShadowBox paints a precise picture of any riders' session.

Ride data and 3D replay can be viewed directly on the box and then later uploaded to a computer via USB where riders can analyze every aspect of their ride in 3D detail using RideTracker, a free software program available for download at www.shadowboxlive.com. And not only does the ShadowBox capture what you do, it also captures where you do it! Yes, through the Ridetracker program you can export your entire ride pathway directly into Google Earth. Not only is your ride path shown, the pathway is programmed to animate your jumps, giving detail to your board's rotation in this extra viewing space.  

NEW - Software to include snowboarding and alpine skiing.   In use by the US Ski Association and US Snowboarding coaches, the Sbox is being tailored to truly impact all levels of training, competition and just pure fun.
