My wife and I are both around 50 years old and sporty. We paid an additional £150 for a re-furbished room and full board. The hotel structure is a little tired (the hallways and stairs belong in the 80's) and it looks 3 star but it is kept very clean. Our room was superb and looked 5 star. The pool was not heated and very basic. The grounds, beach, views etc were more 4/5 star - a very nice place to spend your days.
If you want to sit around inside a hotel communal area in supreme luxury all day or next to an immaculate heated pool - this place is not for you. However, if you want plenty of activities, good quality equipment to use, competent instruction and supervision, superb friendly staff from the waiters up to management who go the extra mile and food that is absolutely spot on (the evening meals are mostly 'a la carte' and and are of restaurant quality) - this place is for you. On reflection, probably the best value holiday we have ever been on - a bargain. Thank you

Fantastic week made all the better for the enthusiastic and welcoming staff, I can honestly say I did not walk past a member of staff without a good morning etc. Pools are immaculate, setting is lovely, will be even nicer when all the plants are established. So much to do as with all MW holidays - great bike rides out.
The accommodation is lovely and beautifully clean as is the entire hotel, Sue the hotel manager remembered us from a holiday we took with MW ten years ago which says it all really !! Our room backed onto the car park otherwise it would have been given a 5 not the 4, however, this did mean we got the evening sun and peace and quiet, not the best view but still nice hills - the room was still lovely.
Watersports and waterfront team are great, friendly and so helpful. Husband and son said organised bike rides out were great as was Pete.
My only negative is the expense, at one time MW included waterski within the holiday price as were all meals and wine, now you have to pay extra for lunch within this resort - we were fully aware of this before we left but it is an expensive holiday - well worth it though.
MW staff are a credit to this company - they really do look after you, we would all definitely return to this resort.

The whole family had the most fantastic week; our 10 year old daughter thought it was just the best place ever and didn't want to miss a moment of Kidsclub. Our 13 year old daughter could dip in and out of her activities as she wished, and we were happy in the knowledge that she was happy, safe, and running her holiday how she wanted to! Meanwhile my husband and I played loads of tennis and quite remarkably reached the mixed doubles finals in the tournament at the end of week - brilliant! (we lost!)

Really confused about some of the negative reviews - we had a great holiday at Perdepera Beach Resort. The pictures on the website do not do it justice - it is much nicer! Most amazing of all was the childcare - don't picture dull baby-sitting in a room with some toys - they go sailing, kayaking, treasure hunts on the beach, games in the pool etc etc - perfect mix of indoor and outdoor activities for little ones. Evening drop-off service was fantastic - kids happy watching a movie and getting to bed on time whilst and adults get some quality time with fantastic food. On the subject of food - great mix of buffet and a la carte. They really do have fresh grilled fish and meat every day, as well as daily pizza, ice-cream, pasta and an amazing range of salads and other Sardinian specialities. The a la carte meals could have come from a really nice restaurant.
The rooms were very basic, as has been mentioned before, and a bit dark, but we hardly stayed there at all. They are set in lush grounds of olive trees and flowers, which were a pleasure to stroll through. Don't forget mosquito repellant for dawn and dusk though.
Great watersports and mountain-biking. On the whole, helpful and friendly staff.
Had a great time early in the season and great value for money, but would worry about the experience if we had gone in peak season when it was really full.

Had a fantastic half term week at the newly refurbished Lemnos Beach Resort. BA flights from Heathrow T5 at a very civilised hour and easy transfer made a great start to the holiday. Our family suite was perfect for us with 2 young children, spacious with high ceilings, kept spotlessly clean and really close to mini club when carrying 2 sleeping children home. Staff were great as usual, especially those at the kids club headed up by the ever smiling Charlotte (who all the childen love!) Food was plentiful, fresh and lots of choice and free wine with lunch is an excellent excuse to indulge! Exercise classes, spa, tennis, sailing all as expected. One week was just not enough though!

I have never been compelled to write a holiday review, however my family and I have just returned from an amazing holiday at the San Lucianu Beach Resort and I just had to share.
We were all Mark Warner virgins up until a week ago and before I booked the holiday I read some reveiws on trip advisor and I was therefore prepared for the tired rooms! Tired but immaculately clean! The only gripe I did have is that we did not have inter-connecting rooms which was challenging to say the least with three children (ages 3, 6 and 9). We were also mountain facing but this happened to be our preferred view, especially because you get the sun on your balcony late afternoon in to the evening.
But you don't go on holiday to stay in your room, especially when there is so much on offer!
Tennis, watersports, mountain biking, volleyball etc. there is enough on offer to keep the whole family entertained all day. So much so that there just isn't enough time to do it all!
Our main activity for the week was tennis and my two older daughters and myself signed up for courses which were brilliant (thank you Duncan). It was also a great way to socialise.
Overall, this has been one of the best holiday's we have ever been on and we look forward to returning to another Mark Warners resort next year :-)

Finally! - flights sorted, BA in and out of Heathrow, good times, not middle of the night, they turned up and on time(ish)!
Our 11th time with MW, 6th at Lakitira and we had an even greater time, thanks to Jess without whom I don't think our son Charlie would have done as much in kids club as he did, fantatsic for us, thanks Jess!
Two blots on the landcape, the Saturday we arrived was half term week and the restaurant was very busy and very understaffed! Piles of plates with unfinished food, the core staff we see every year are brilliant, worked their socks off, but couldn't cope. We heard a couple of comments from 1st timers who were not impressed! To be fair it got a lot better very quickly with more staff drafted in, but this should really have been forseen!
Blot 2 - the 2nd Saturday, transfer day, there was no evening child care apart from toddlers. There was no communication this would happen, we turned up to kids club @ 07:30pm with nobody there. We have never known there to be no childcare of an evening, It was a bit of a shock having Charlie eat with us in the Restaurant, well it would have been if Hannah hadn't said Charlie could sit and watch TV with the toddlers. Is this now corporate policy?
The evening toddler club were also inundated, my wife said she has never seen so many children at the evening creche.
But we love it here and hope to be back later in the summner, or if not, same time next year!
If you haven't been on a MW holiday here, give it a go, you'll love it!

Just returned from an excellent week at Lakitira, thanks to everyone from Mark Warner and the hotel for making us feel so welcome. Our accommodation in the Village was excellent, clearly newly refurbished, spacious and in a great location next to the pool, beach, playground and kids club. The resort had everything we wanted and the child care was second to none, special thanks to Charlie, Amanda and Amelia who were officially 'the best thing about the holiday' according to our kids 2 and 5. The evening child care is a revelation, the kids get to go to bed at the club, so they are ready are raring to go again in the morning, it worked a treat. Must also mention the diving, Vicky and Dane looked after us really well, despite us not diving for over 8 years, and arranged for a boat dive that was brilliant...the underwater sulphur bubbles are beautiful and have to be seen to be believed!
We will almost certainly be coming back to Lakitira and will definitely be booking with Mark Warner again.

We have travelled with mark Warner before so know what you get.
We went to the sea garden in bodrum turkey and what a lovely resort.
MW staff are there ready to great you and help you with bags etc.
The hotel very clean and beautiful the rooms lovely we stayed in one off the
Superior rooms views was great.
The mark Warner team works really hard for you to enjoy your holiday
I won't to say a huge thank you to Adam he works on the sea front
Teaching the Rya course a great guy if you go ask for him to teach you.
The food was ok plentiful but became the same old thing nothing really changed.
Ryan the luguna fish restaurant beautiful just a shame it's not used more than twice a
Week.
The resort is huge over 3 sides including the mini bodrum village worth a look
Believe we was to earlier in the season for much entrainment up there worth
A visit.
The sunset bar needs better music., we were there and they was playing the worst music
You could listen to no ambience there but the best spot to watch the sunset with
A gin and tonic.
Ideal for families the mw girls work very hard to
Make sure he children are all happy.
Great place to meet new friends to and yes I would recommend
Sea garden to everyone
Can't wait to return again
Well done mark Warner team for an enjoyable and relaxing week

II'd agree with previous comments that this is a bit of a concrete block of a hotel, but I tended to spend more time looking out to sea and at the gardens than at the hotel! And I can't think of much else to
fault it.
The room we had was nicely done, although it was one of the upgraded rooms with views over the sea. Plenty of space with an interconnecting door to our children's room. The bathrooms were good and modern with strong water pressure. The communal hallways were a little shabby and dark.
Food was surprisingly good - better than we had expected for mass catering. The kids' tea time was a bit of a chimps' tea party - but we did go before the main school holidays so there were lots of pre-schoolers. The evening meal had several a la carte options each night with a number of genuinely very good meals through the fortnight (and my wife is a notoriously hard-to-please foodie). Wine was sensibly priced and the staff flexible about popping a cork in and saving leftover wine for the next night. Sitting out on the decking eating meals with the sound of the waves crashing was quite special.
Childcare was excellent with staff who were genuinely caring and my kids became fond of during the two weeks. They got the kids doing lots of things during the day - taking them out on boats and windsurf boards, tennis, plus lots of arts and crafts time. We (parents) would be at the poolside and hear singing, look out over the footpath which ran down the side of the hotel to the beach and the kids would be walking past in a crocodile singing, "We are mini-club" and "There was a crocodile" - always made us smile. The evening movie-time creche was great for us parents to have some nice time together at the end of the day - and it was very sweet carrying sleepy children back to the hotel room at 10.30pm.
Watersports were fine - generally good quality staff and okay kit, but the beach was a little bit of a let down with a lot of stones just below the waterline so taking boats out or bringing them in was pretty hard on the feet.
Staff in the resort were excellent - lots of young "gappers" but plenty of enthusiasm and energy and a nice attitude. Jen, the resort manager, was excellent and I understand she is back there again for 2013.
A nice town within walking distance for when you wanted to get out of the resort. Similarly, a nice walk up to a waterfall where you could go for a very refreshing swim.
We'd definitely go again, but Mark Warner offered us a good deal on a trip to Sardinia this year so we thought we'd try a different resort. All of us are getting excited now as it is only a few weeks to go (which has prompted me to write this review some time after our last holiday ended).

We stayed here for the last week of the season, having travelled with Mark Warner many many times before. The accomodation is good, but not 5*. The food was a big disappointment as they would often run out of basic items. The food was no better than any of their other resorts, and we have nether encountered them running out of many items of food.
On the whole it was a pleasant stay only spoilt by the food issues, which hopefully will be sorted for 2013.
As is usual to Mark Warner they NEVER RESPOND TO THE CUSTOMER SURVEYS OR COMMENTS, and would do well to acknowledge the comments of their customers.

Went to the Sea Garden for a late summer activity holiday on the basis of great first MW holiday in Sardinia in 2011 and good Trip Advisor reviews. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and could find little wrong. This is a BIG resort in 3 parts that nestles in two bays, straddling a peninsula so there is a lot of walking and lots of STEPS! Sea Garden is run by Swiss Timeshare specialist Hapimag. Bodrum Sea Garden Village has one bay and is the timeshare half and the Sea Garden Hotel is used by MW – but is not exclusively. The MW staff really work hard to make your holiday fun and if you cannot find an activity you like in this large resort there is something wrong! The two resorts are linked by Mini Bodrum Village. Food is generally okay but the so called speciality restaurants apart from Laguna are not brilliant. Thoroughly recommend Turkish Night on Monday nights. Not many negatives to report apart from wasps (worst at breakfast), speeding vans/ buggies, some indifferent service/staff, lack of variety of bars/cocktails, limited spa hours (only 9am-6pm) and Watersports are good but shame that the waterskiing is only on the other side and I have yet to receive my RYA Certificate 4 months on! Also MW only sends out the ticket packs quite late in the day only about a week before your flights! Full 5-page review left on Trip Advisor.

Just booked for this year. Flying from Manchester and will accept that the holiday is geared for London arrivals. Watersports classes and events do not tie in with Thursdays arrivals unless different from last year. Such a shame as this would make this holiday absolutely perfect and would be so easy to fix. Beginners classes start a good few days after arrival so not much chance to practice what learnt. As a single mum though is a fantastic resort, time with each child alone and time for myself. Staff great and head office policy to prioritise London flights not theirs. Food best ever and looking forward to our mocktails after a day in the sun before dinner. Maybe a more exciting evening entertainment programme would make a big difference.

This was my 1st holiday with MW. We booked this 2 weeks before we went. We wanted somewhere hot and relaxing with watersports. This resort ticked all the boxes and more. The MW staff at Kos airport, through to those in the resort and the watersports team were brilliant, customer service at its best, nothing was too much trouble, they were helpful, explained things fully and offered assistance as required. We had a room in the main hotel which was lovely and cleaned throughly every day, it overlooked the pretty gardens at the front of the property. We were on FB and the choice and quailty of food was excellent at all mealtimes. Our flights were with WOW, and were very good, the only point to be aware off is that the onboard service is expensive, but the flight attendants are very cheerful and helpful. We would/will come here again but not in peak season as we have no children. We will also recommend to family and friends. A great holiday that meet all our expectations and more. Well done MW staff.

Initial impression of the hotel architecture/complex is long, thin and rather "stark" - But this feeling soon fades when you walk down the beautiful long pool running through the centre to the sea. Also given that its only a few months old and shrubs dont grow that fast in such a hot summer & with the gardeners now very busy replanting everywhere - it will be brilliant by May.
The rooms are superb & quiet with almost silent aircon.
Beach Towels are provided and regularly changed.
Yes the Loo seats are a bit small but not a tradegy.
The MW team led by the marvelous Sue are as ever top quality and fun. The Local Staff are brilliant - helpful happy and attentive. Esp Nancy at reception who has answers for everything.
Yes the beach is stoney plus sand - the more they remove - the better it will become. They just keep working their way up like worms. They do need to install another shower for beach swimmers plus changing cabins to make it complete.
Given that we have experienced 2/3* star MW in the past - this is absolutely 5* star - and a brilliant addition to the list.
Rhodes/ Lindos are well worth the trips - we also hired a car to E35 for the day plus E20 fuel and went round the whole beautiful unspoilt southern end
Great holiday - book book book

My young companion and I recently spent a week here and, all things considered, we had a great holiday. The staff were friendly and helpful, which in the last week of the season was impressive. The food was nutritious and plentiful, the waterfront was well-manned and ran a range of activities, there was lots of other games available on land, and people who only wanted to read their Kindle on a sun-lounger could do just that.
On the downside, the hotel resembled a 1970's Black Sea resort for middle-ranking KGB agents and their families. The beach was not sheltered and there were usually sizeable waves which made it trickier for beginners to get up on windsurfers, and the weather, as you'd expect from the location, was not consistently sunny. Then again, the flight was short and, if you are canny and get a decent discount on the holiday price, it's good value for money. Oh, the booze is sold at London pub prices (I suspect at quite a mark-up on local prices), so be prepared to fork out easily £100+ for your bar bill for the week, depending on thirst.
Overall, as long as you get a good price, you will have a good time at St Lu.

This resort was second choice for our party of four adults and one thirteen year old. Our first choice was Lakitira but there were no available flights with this being a last minute booking. We had reservations about the fact that this was a hotel where Mark Warner booked rooms and ran the waterfront, rather than an exclusive Warner only resort. All inclusives can often be a bit substandard as well. Thankfully we were pleasantly surprised by all aspects of our visit.
The flights from terminal five at Heathrow with BA left and returned at a reasonable time of the day with no delays and a good service on board. The transfers to resort were only 50 minutes. The quality of the rooms were excellent, although if you need a 3rd bed in the room make sure that you are allocated a suite of which I believe there are only 3 or 4 available. It wouldn't be the end of the world, however if you did have to cope with 3 beds in the standard room.
The quality of the local beer, wine and spirits were good. The restaurants had plenty of variety and if you like fresh fish I doubt you would get better anywhere else. Child care was good despite our arrival being outside term time and a lack of children to fill up all the usual age bracketed classes. Evening entertainment was on every night in Mini Bodrum where it is like a big amphitheatre with plenty of seating and access to a couple of bars providing all inclusive free drinks and ice creams.
The waterfront is well run with a good choice of watercraft. The only downside being that if the wind direction is onshore waves can make it a bit tricky for windsurfers.
Although it seems to have been dropped from the brochure there are two good squash courts available if you are so inclined and I enjoyed using them several times during my visit. I was surprised not to get bitten by Mosquitos or any bugs in the 35 degree heat but was told that the hotel regularly fumigates the grounds and this obviously works.
I would highly recommend this resort, as would my travelling companions, who are the sort who normally moan a lot if things aren't right!

This was our second visit to lakitira and I think it was better this year.
The first year we stayed in the suites and this year a fab house in the village, very handy for kids club.
The kids club staff are the best!!
We have 3 kids,8,6,3 years all did full day kids clubs and loved it.
Our middle child has down syndrome and he has had a 1:1 with a MW person when ever he was in club.
The same person every day for the 2 weeks even when he went to film nights every night.
I cannot fault them.
Food excellent.
Sports excellent from adult and child points of view.
Would reccommend to anyone with kids!

Excellent holiday, exceeded our expectations (never been on a similar holiday before). Travelled with an 8 month old and 3 year old, very easy as everything there - highchairs, travel cots, early tea for them, pureed foods, kitchen with steriliser, microwaves and sink to wash bottles. We opted for afternoon childcare which meant we were able to relax for a few hours on the lovely beach. Evening childcare worked well too. Food plentiful and of very high standard. Staff (local and MW) were all very friendly. Will definitely return again.

No issues with water pressure (2nd floor). Staff from all of the various operations that go to make a great holiday were super. The resort was lovely and the food was very nice and a good choice, well presented.
Pleanty of activities if you want them, with staff who are happy to give the customer time.
We will look at coming back to San Lucianu but will also be looking at other MW beach resort holidays.

We recently stayed at Perdepera and had a fantastic holiday. We were a little concerned before going, as some of the reviews were very negative. All the staff were very helpful and extremely friendly (special thanks to Tory and Louise). The food was excellent, with a wide selection to suit all tastes. The accommodation whilst a little basic, was perfectly adequate and clean and the air con worked great (which is always a bonus). We have been on lots of Mark Warner holidays and would certainly put this resort down as one of our best.

Our family of five spent two weeks at Perdepera in August 2012. This was our first holiday with Mark Warner and it met our expectations very well.
The hotel was very nice, with rooms spread out between single-storey buildings, which we found much more appealing than a large hotel. The swimming pool and bar area were very pleasant, as was the semi-outdoor restaurant, although tables further from the outside were too warm for our liking. The bedrooms were spacious and unadorned, with reasonably-sized shower rooms; we found the bed very comfortable and our air conditioning worked effectively throughout the holiday. We were impressed with how clean the rooms were kept, as well as the way the pool area was cleaned each morning. The beach was only a minute’s walk from the hotel.
I heard from a member of the Mark Warner staff that there were 64 MW employees in the hotel during peak season for 350-odd guests. Mark Warner ran the restaurant, the activities and the kids’ club, while hotel staff covered the reception, bar and cleaning.
We found the food at breakfast and lunch excellent, with a good selection (sometimes too much to resist !). Food in the evenings was equally good. The four A La Carte meals were enjoyable, although our party – adults and kids – strongly preferred the buffet meals, which had a wide selection of options and definitely suited the children better. I’d have preferred to see more buffet dinners (but then I do like to pile a few chips on with whatever I’m eating !)
Most of the waiting staff were competent, helpful and friendly. They didn’t always get everything right, but that’s understandable given the pressure of evening meals and the hot conditions in the indoor dining area and presumably in the kitchen. One more comment on the catering – they baked a cake for my son’s 9th birthday, which was greatly appreciated !
The waterfront staff were consistently enthusiastic and friendly. I found them proficient and genuinely helpful, especially when I was trying to re-learn windsurfing after a fifteen-year break ! As well as getting some good hints about the windsurfing, I enjoyed the (free) introductory sailing course and took up the option of an extra-cost course on the second week without feeling pressurised to do so. The waterfront staff took an interest in what the guests were doing and the progress we were making. This interest did not feel synthesised – rather, it felt as though they were sharing their love of the sports with the guests. If I were to start naming the staff who I had found friendly and helpful, I’d be naming virtually all of them.
My wife appreciated the organised morning run as well as the various exercise classes…. and tells me that she feels fitter now than before the holiday!
We only came into contact with a small number of the childcare staff, but I am equally full of praise for those we met. All three of our children’s needs were met. Our youngest threw himself into a non-stop round of activities, our oldest chilled out with other teenagers and our middle child – who is disabled and could not do all the activities – joined in when she could and was made to feel welcomed and involved.
It was a great holiday, with nothing about it to put us off going with Mark Warner again. Initially, it felt a bit over-organised, with various meetings on the first day to explain the arrangements for childcare, dinner, water sports, tennis etc., but in retrospect I guess that was needed.
The resort could certainly do with several more sailing dinghies and a few more mountain bikes to reduce the number of occasions when guests can’t borrow the equipment they’d like to. I wasn’t that keen on the sign-up sheets for specific dinner slots either; we always wanted the popular 7:30pm slot (the earliest one), but this was often over-subscribed. I also suggest that Mark Warner could negotiate with the hotel about their additional charge of €30 - €50 to keep the room on the day of departure. Coaches left between 2:00pm and 4:00pm, so it’s not convenient for any guests to vacate their rooms at 10:00am on the last day. Overall, an excellent holiday though.

We travelled as a family in August 2012 and had a great time. The resort is clean, spacious and very friendly. There were always sun beds, room to sit and relax. We stayed full board and there is a good selection of food at all meals. The pool restaurant does burgers and sandwiches if you want to self cater for lunch. The drinks bill was expensive as we are not big drinkers but there were a few cheeky cocktails on the tab. Our children only did a few activities but the clubs were brilliant and the staff fantastic. I was impressed with the teenager clubs especially. Beware the sea is choppy and deep and the beach is sand and pebbles. The flight was good and all food and drinks are included. Make sure you book a children's meal. Also take entertainment for the children as there is no tv, music or headphone facilities on the plane. I wish we had known this before the flight as we had to juggle one DVD player between two children sitting separately. The hotel advertises sky but the tv channels are limited to news/business so again if you want to use the room for out of sun time do download a few films. There is no DVD player in room although you could take a network cable to link up to the tv. We used the wifi in the lobby to download a few films. We had a beach view room and couldn't get wifi to work. One week is fine. However for two you should get a car as there isn't much close by. Also there is a neighbour twin hotel you can use the children's fun splash pool and no one used it which is such a shame as it was great as there was a slide and bucket splash zone. It's just by the pool restaurant. The Greek ruins are a fabulous extra! These are handy hints really as the holiday was great and I would recommend for a good relaxing family break.

Great resort, great staff, great sailing conditions (wind got up to 26 knots). Children (age 12 and 15) had a great time in the kids' clubs. Flight out with Air Berlin (186 seats) delayed by hour and a half, but plane was comfortable and flight was fine. Weren't told that we would get a sandwich snack on the plane and so could have avoided buying sandwiches at Gatwick.
Flight back with Small Planet was initially at 21:15, which suited us, but a few days before travelling this was put forward to 00:00, and this did not suit us. Plane was then delayed by half hour and, for some reason, took half an hour longer than the outbound flight. Plane was smaller (156 seats). Seats were small and cramped, and headrests were too low to support head properly when trying to sleep. Not impressed by cabin staff, either. I would echo the views of others - great resort but spoilt by the flight back. Might look at other tour operators next year. Come on Mark Warner - sort out the flights!!

The staff were all exceptionally friendly, the childcare second to none and the resort facilities excellent. Yes, the buildings are a little tired, but the resort is absolutely spotless.Food was great (a little too good as I ate far too much) and there was a really varied programme of events throughout the day if you were so inclined. The tennis coaching (particularly Jen) was marvellous.
All in all we had a wonderful wonderful time. I can see why its the most returned to Mark Warner resort and feel so sad that its potentially closing.

The flight times we booked were not great but with a week to go we were amended to Air Berlin - excellent flights and times were very good in both directions. I can't praise the hotel staff enough - both MW and local. The drinks bill for the week was not as scary as I thought it might be and snacks at lunchtime (if needed) were good quality and cheap. Large selection of food to choose from; breakfasts were the highlight with lovely fresh fruit as well as everything else you could think of. The fitness classes were fun; social tennis was well organised. The sun shone the whole time but there was plenty of shade. I hope to go back next year.

We though the resort and facilities were fantastic. The accommodation was good quality basic and spotlessly cleaned everyday. Two minutes to the beach or bars and a perfect location. Food was great and plenty of it. The watersports facilities were very good with provision for a wide range of all abilities. Our 14 year old son had a go at water skiing (loved that ) and wind surfing (loved that too)!. We enjoyed the sailing which was quiet in the morning rising to a steady brisk breeze, quite challenging for most.
The staff, under the local management of George, were very good, worked long hours but always very warm and willing to help.
Warm evenings by 1 of the 2 bars was always welcoming and relaxing. Perfect for unwinding.
We loved it and would recommend San Agostino to all.

The resort far exceeded our expectations. Beautiful location, and an excellent range of activities to suit most peoples tastes. The food was exteremely good and I would thoroughly recommend going full board. All the staff were friendly and helpful and well overseen by George.
I agree with others who say that the accomodation is a bit dated but that shouldn't put anyone off going as you'll find you will spend very little time in your rooms with so much going on. The rooms are in fact clean and comfortable and really all you need for a holiday of this type.
We would definitely go back.

A wonderful first visit to San Ag. Fantastic sailing with an enormous beach front and multiple boats. Beautiful long, sandy and almost empty beach. Great food with a wide selection to suit all. Rooms cleaned and spotless each day with fresh towels. No need for flat screen TVs/wifi etc when you are sailing/sunbathing and relaxing! Wonderful sea view room with balcony to sit on . Fabulous childcare if needed and extremely helpful beachfront staff. My 5th Mark Warner holiday and without doubt the best ever ..especially the sailing facilities, location and the food! PLEASE Mark Warner keep this resort open.It may be basic in some respects (eg rooms) but it makes up for it in so many other ways.

What a fantastic holiday! This was my first holiday on my own with my daughters (14 and 11) since being widowed a year ago and needed it to be a good one – I was not disappointed! The staff were all amazing and really looked after us above and beyond the call of duty (special thanks to Emma, Lucy, Elise, Tim, Adam and Effie). The girls had a great time at club and made lots of friends – it must have been good to get my ‘Indie’ up for a 9am breakfast every day! I had quality ‘me’ time but we also had great family time and met some lovely people. We had a bungalow which was perfect for us - the rooms were thoroughly cleaned and towels changed every day with night clothes and teddies laid out beautifully! We went full board and were really pleased we did – the food was great, a really good variety to suit all and ensure it did not get ‘samey’. I really hope MW decides to renew the lease – yes, the resort would benefit from a refurb but not one that ruins the friendly ambience and puts the price of the holiday out of reach of many of the families who currently enjoy it so much. On a holiday as good as this, you spend very little time in the rooms anyway! We really hope that George and his team are still there in 2013 so we can come back!

Just returned from 2 weeks at sea garden. The best 2 weeks ever. Have been to this resort 3 times. The waterfront team were outstanding. Amy waterfront manager fantastic, helpful and a great help teaching widsurfing. Jack, nic, giddy and Owen an awsome team getting kit ready, teaching courses and overall just excellent. I spent most of my 2 weeks at the waterfront and cannot comment enough what an excellent job they do. Big thanks amy. Elle and Darren resort managers always around to help in anyway such nice people, always going that extra mile. Wish I could have stayed longer. Will be back next year. Karen ( Titch)

1st MW Holiday, and not the last I hope.....IF flight issue can be remedied?.......Apart from the change to flight schedule 3 days prior to return, and as other reviewers have commented on the "adhoc" flight arrangements - that was the only negative, but a big one at that. You don't need flying through the night when your original flight times were getting you home before 1am...as it was 7am home meant the whole family were exhausted from the journey home. To coin a phrase, "you get what you pay for"? But do you? You pay good money to enjoy your holiday with a company of Mark Warner's reputation, only to have it ruined by inevitable flight problems. It may only be a small piece of the jigsaw, but it can't be overlooked as it plays a significant part in what you recall of the holiday.... when you factor both inbound and outbound travel times amount to 9 hours in total, check in times (3 to 4 hours) + travelling to/from airport so it really does matter to have the start and end of your holiday go smoothly and to expectations, especially with children in tow. Inbound, you are only having to kill time at Kos airport for an hour, once checked in but should it be delayed - it would be carnage.
Our kids aged 4 & 11 loved it and by morning of day 3 were asking "when are we coming back here Dad"...no pressure then. We would look at other destinations that leave Heathrow for sure.
Resort is fabulous, never left it to go into Town, as there was no need, food was excellent with very wide choice - exceeded expectations of Buffet style dinner. Take more sun cream than you need as the resort shop is 24 Euro's (cheapest option) for a 300ml bottle of Kids Factor 50 Sunscreen. More than a little excessive?
MW staff - all excellent.
Hotel staff: Bar staff could do with a little staff training on making a G&T which doesn't contain flat Tonic, and in manners expected of front of house staff i.e. asking "can I help you" (followed by them continuing their staff chat for 5 minutes) before pouring the beer you are thirsty for.
If the flight problems could be corrected and assured I would book again without hesitation, but as Mark Warner are sub contracting out flight operator I guess it will always be in the hands of the 3rd party/flight operator as to what transpires.

Just got back from a fantastic week at San Ag. We have been to a few Mark Warner resorts and this is definitely our favourite, for its beautiful location, away from roads, and its laid back atmosphere. The staff were all great, in particular the waterfront staff who caught my boat in the roughest seas and always had a smile. The rooms are basic but very clean, equivalent to about a 3 star hotel. If you like marble bathrooms and gold taps, it will not be the place for you (I heard one guy complain he didn't have a television in his room!). But if you like a completely chilled holiday, with all the sports and activities that you want, great food and friendly staff, you will find it all here. My two teenagers already want me to book for next year!

the flight and whole travel arrangements where amazing, with no problems at all. As soon as we arrived at the hotel our bags where in our AMAZING room which was very modern and clean. There where a few meetings about child care and (after meeting everyone) you make friends within the first day. The pools are fantastic, each with a different purpose, and there was always plenty of sun loungers for everyone. The food was really nice and there was always something different to eat everyday. The staff are friendly and always on hand. Indie club was fantastic for the teenagers and there was never a dull moment. The highlight of my trip was the volley ball at 3pm everyday, within a few days we had a team and it was VERY fun

This was a last minute deal. I was a little concerned about some of the earlier negative views but I should not have worried. The food was excellent with plenty of choice to accommodate all tastes. The accommodation is a little bit dated but the rooms are very comfortable with excellent air conditioning and are kept in immaculate condition by the cleaners who do a fantastic job. It seems that everyone of all ages enjoy this holiday. I was travelling alone and Lucy arranged a dinner for other solo travellers. What an excellent idea to meet other solo travellers or even single parents who were travelling with children who found themselves "alone" as their children were kept very busy with the club activities. I would definitely recommend this resort - it has a very friendly happy and welcoming atmosphere.

Perdepera is an excellent Mark Warner resort. In particular, the beach is really great and the water crystal clear. The resort is really well run with great activities for everybody; so that the whole family had a holiday that they enjoyed. As expected, the childcare was brilliant and the staff and food were really great too!

We travelled to Levante Beach at the beginning of July and I have to say, it was one of the best holiday experiences we've had.
We relaxed, made friends and generally enjoyed a perfect break. As a young couple without kids, me and my girlfriend were pleased to find that while the resort is family friendly, there was also plenty to keep us entertained. We enjoyed the water sports and yoga classes and we especially enjoyed the cocktails over (our delicious) dinner!
The resort is quiet, but without being boring and is a perfect getaway. We would highly recommend the place and want to thank Sue, Gilly and the gang for making us feel so welcome. We will be back!

Mark Warner - Levante Beach, Rhodes, Greece
June - July 2012
Perhaps it's a sign of the times. Having been previous Mark Warner guests (San Agostino, Paleros and Lakitira), we were used to distinctive red and white MW bag tags, tickets and lots of other MW paraphernalia. None on this occasion, except an e-ticket and letter of confirmation, which was completely perfect and no doubt reduced MW's overheads. This all worked efficiently too.
Flight - This was a charter flight operated by BA, departing from the beautiful Terminal Five at Heathrow. The experience of departing on time was a new one (based on previously travelling with Excel, Viking, Tor and other Mark Warner flight operations during the past 5 years!). This BA flight was the perfect flight, really charming staff, great food and we arrived 30 minutes EARLY at Rhodes Airport. I have to say the BA cabin crew were just completely fabulous with kids and adults alike. MW have clearly listened to customers. Humans tend to remember the beginning and end of a holiday! Typically, our last (2011) experience of 8 hour delays (including a fire alarm evacuation!) at sunny London Gatwick no doubt has a potential huge impact on MW guests returning the following year. If MW listens, the BA charter concept is compelling and just brilliant. MW - Bring it in for all the resorts and your returning guests will increase, I promise!
Transfer - Despite the early arrival at Phodes, Mark Warner staff were ready and waiting with four coaches for transfer to Levante Beach. Transfer time was about 25 minutes. Despite being located close to the airport, throughout the stay there was no sound of either light or commercial aircraft. Seat belts are fitted on the air conditioned coaches, I noted a few defective belts.
We were allocated a small room on the floor above reception and in all honesty couldn't have asked for too much more, as we had only booked a standard room (2 adults, 1 child). The room had views at the rear of the hotel, overlooking the tennis courts and a small mountain, but facing away from the sea....we were quite disappointed. However, there are much worse rooms we spotted - on the ground floor, also at the back, but looking directly onto the wall of the tennis centre and next to a very noisy generator!!! Hopefully MW guests don't get landed with those....some of the rooms fall into the room numbers 1000's and 2000's.
There didn't appear to be a dedicated MW Reception desk, as reception is shared by all the operators at Levante Beach. Departure information is positioned to the right of reception on the wall. The Greek reception staff are great English speakers and were always very helpful. The hotel operations and general running is overseen by a Greek chap who bears a huge similarity to Bernie Ecclestone! The MW resort manager is also always contactable.
CAUTION RE THE MAIN POOL - As everyone does, within a few minutes of arrival, we went to explore the resort. Our daughter, put a foot in the beautiful, huge main pool's shallow end and instantly slipped, fully clothed into the pool! The MW resort manager, Sue, happened to watch this event. Sue is very congenial, helpful and delightful. She chatted for a while and we were informed that the resort was not at full capacity but was going very well, (based on feedback from other guests). Sue made an admission that the pool requires a repair due to slippy sides. The plan is to drain the pool in the winter, I just hope that no one becomes injured from a slip or slide into the pool. Upon examination the pool isn't suffering from algae etc - it's just some areas of slippery tiles.. For those with infants another word of caution - the pools have no fenced containment, so you need to keep a strict eye on non-swimming toddlers who may wander off - lots of ground floor rooms open directly out onto pools... This of course is different to Lakitira and San Agostino, where these areas are rigorously fenced and gated off. This is probably due to hotel policy, rather than MW.
We have encountered management in previous MW stays, but Sue was just great when it came to dealing with people on an approachable and professional basis. We were very, very impressed, as she is clearly experienced at dealing with issues (and was good at remaining in touch throughout the entire stay). Sue also arranged for an alternative room.
We were lucky, and probably only as there were still vacancies, to be given a new room (classed as a deluxe suite) near the centre of the resort, which was a huge improvement. It's difficult to know whether to choose ground floor and patio, or first floor and balcony. We had opted for the latter. Everything was brand new and In fact it was so new, that we were missing a handle on our interconnecting door, which really didn't matter. We had a stunning view of the adult pool, Crocodile Rock and an interrupted view of the sea. Be advised, there are however, a number of rooms in the 'nice' blocks beginning with no. 7 which face out onto the side exterior of the resort, with a potential view of a long wooden fence!
Each room has a larger than iPad compatible size safety box which is electronic so no deposit is required, previously hotels have required deposits for a key at reception, so this cuts down on a bit of hassle.. We had two flat screen LCD televisions, of which Sky and BBC news updates and other English channels could be viewed. Wi-fi is not available in most rooms, however there are a number of wi-fi 'hotspots' around the resort which can be 'tapped' into, at no additional cost. We were also supplied with plush white dressing gowns. Shampoo, shower gel and body lotion was also provided - but bring conditioner!
Work in progress - The resort is still undergoing work in some areas. Power cuts and the occasional lack of bath water are not a sign of Greek austerity measures! The bushes and grass turf have a bit of growing to do! There are no diggers, cranes or really anything which negatively affects the quality of customer satisfaction. Levante Beach is the most northerly of a current development of three hotels, which I believe are all operated by the same owner, Aqua Sol Hotel Group. As things stand, if the four pools at Levante Beach aren't enough, you are free to venture to the other hotels to use their pools. Our suspicion is that ongoing building work has come to a halt next door, until winter time, when it will restart without interfering with guests lifestyle.
The pools - there are four outside pools, which include an adults only (over 18's) pool (for water polo and staff lifeguard training too), the main pool (slippery edges), a kiddies paddling pool and an 'infinity style' beach pool, with stunning views of the coast and surrounding mountains. This pool also has a beach style bar and has an area with sofas and chairs overlooking the beach on a wooden decking. One improvement would be to place 'tea lights' on each table, to improve the general ambience, when t

This is the review I was trying to put on Tripadvisor but at the moment they aren't allowing it, hopefully they will soon!
I, similar to others I met last week, had booked and then read reviews on here. I was definitely concerned when I read the negative ones - even to the point of emailing Mark Warner, who promptly replied and put my mind at ease with contact names should I encounter any problems.
But honestly what are these people who complained going on about?
Yes the hotel is dated, but that's it. It was clean in every respect. The rooms were spotless every day, always plenty of clean, fresh white towels, the showers were exceptionally good and no shortage of hot water. Air conditioning worked fine and the doors had fly screens on so you could have fresh air without the bugs (what few there were) at any time.
I was only on half board but would definitely go for full board next times as the food was amazing. There was a massive selection to choose from and a great variety. The night where there was fresh lobster tail and whole sea bream was superb.
The staff were fantastic and always helpful and friendly.
The water staff went above and beyond. I went to learn to sail and my instructor Alex was brilliant. The section managers were always on hand to make sure all staff were looking after anyone that wanted to learn, try, play and all the equipment was excellent.
I honestly can not think of a negative to this place - possibly if you are going to search for one the flights were not the best as far as on board service goes but that was a very very small part of the whole trip that was not 100%.
Mark Warner has developed a great holiday spot for singles, couples and families and George and Stephen in charge at the resort are doing a first class job. I hope MW gets the lease again because it would be a crying shame if this resort was closed. I will absolutely be going back, I only wish I could have stayed.
Everyone got a feedback form in their room at the end of the week and if you bothered to read the MW notices in the lobby you would have seen that they welcomed feedback. They also said don't wait until you get home to complain but see someone there so they could fix whatever was wrong! You can't ask for fairer than that.
Thanks to everyone for making it one of the best holidays I have had.

This is our 3rd Mark Warner holiday, now our favourite. Lovely good sized rooms. Great waterfront, however the beach and water is stoney, you will need beach shoes. The water is lovely and clear but gets deep very quickly - small children are probably better off at one of the lovely pools. Kids club great as usual , thanks to Ellie ! All the local staff were very friendly and helpful in the spa and restaurants etc. We will be returning.

This was our 3rd visit to Lakitira, and as always the hotel lived up to our expectations. The ground floor junior suites are perfect for young children as you get more inside space and there are grassed areas outside for the kids to have a good run around. The rooms are clean, comfortable and modern. The kids clubs both daytime and evening creche are fantastic. Great range of fitness activities. The beach staff were much more helpful this year, ensuring someone always got kit out for you, saving you to have to hoard it all across the very hot sand! Good choice of eating options although the food at the Taverna was very similar to the main restaurant but with a 12 euro supplement. Shame that Saturdays are the MW staffs day off..it meant that we had one full day of our holiday each week where we had no activities. The local town is a 10 minute (10euro) taxi ride away but is really not worth the effort. The only thing that always lets our holiday down is the appalling flight companies always used by MW. This year we had our flights changed by over 11 hours four days before departure and then a 12 hour delay when we got to Gatwick. During the 12 hours we were only given 1 meal and 1 drink. So perfect resort, awful awful flights.

I have been on over twenty beach club holidays during the last thirty years, both as a young dedicated dinghy sailor though to now being slightly less dedicated and with two kids, but this was my first holiday with Mark Warner. It was a superb holiday. The club was even better and with equally good sailing as the now gone and much missed Sunsail resort at Colonna on Antigua (visited four times).
Summary :
- Occupancy = We visited on the week before most schools break up for the summer. I understand that the occupancy was at about 170, with a maximum of about 320, so just over half full.
- Food = Excellent buffet for most meals, with a wide choice of good local food. The grilled fish and the grill in particular was fantastic, some of the best fish I have had anywhere. My 11 and 14 year old children loved the pasta, pizzas, biscuits, and ice cream too. On four nights there was an a la carte menu with table service. These meals were even better. 10/10
- Room = We had a simple but decent two level family room with two single bed / sofas and a mezzanine for the double bed. A great plus = a powerful shower with good temperature control ! There was a private outside area with table and chairs. Could have usefully had a small table downstairs though. 8/10
- Pool = Large for the number of guests with good sized toddlers area, standing / larger childrens area, and deeper diving and swimming area also. A very pleasant setting with a simple but decent nearby bar and a small though comfortable area with soft chairs nearby. The pool was never crowded, and my children spent several hours playing in it every day. However many guests left towels on sun loungers to claim them for the whole day eve when they weren't at the pool for hours on end, as a result there was a shortage of sun loungers. This does happen everywhere, however there is ample space around the pool for about half as many extra sun loungers to be added, so this may be a helpful addition for the future. There was also a separate smaller toddlers pool, though we never used this. 7/10
- Beach = Huge sandy beach with no other hotels nearby and almost nobody else on it. I think there were some other people a mile or so along the coast, but you could hardly see them :-) Ample sun loungers and shades for everyone, probably still with spare spaces when the hotel is totally full. Some shingle and pebbles at the waterline. Beautiful beautiful clear water. 9/10
- Sailing = Originally I though that the beach team were a little short of kit. However I'm not so dedicated as I used to be, and many of the guests seemed to be of similar age and mind, therefore there never was any shortage of boats or windsurf kit, except perhaps for the Topaz catamarans, where two of the six were out of action with breakages. The wind was superb all week, with lower 'beginner' winds for a couple of hours each morning, and excellent 'intermediate' sailing breezes all afternoon. This was except for one day where the lower winds persisted all day. The sea state was never excessive.
- Lessons = My children both had windsurfing lessons and enjoyed these enormously, progressing well in their skills. The instruction was generally very good with the RYA course that my 14 year old son took being informative and good value, though private lessons as taken by my 11 year old daughter were a bit pricey. 8/10
- Hotel Grounds = Absolutely beautiful, with an abundance of well maintained trees and flowering bushes. Maybe we were very lucky with the time of year, but there were stunning flowers everywhere. Our room was near the central hotel buildings, but we walked through the grounds anyway even though we didn't need to. The groundsmen are to be commended. The hotel setting with some nearby hills as a backdrop is also lovely. 9/10
- Shopping. There is a small shop in the hotel, stocking basic holiday essentials. The local town was a twenty minute taxi drive away, with a good range of interesting shops in the high street. A bit pricy to get to by taxi though at 40 euros each way..., though there is a coach once a week also. 5/10
- General = We never used any kids club facilities, or the mountain bikes, tennis, etc. I understand from other guests that the mountain biking was very good, though I couldn't have coped with it as the temperature on most days was in the high thirties, even though the internet weather reports only said about 30 degrees.
- Summary = Superb, we will be going again. 8/10

Just back from our 2nd family trip to San Agostino. We had a fantastic 2 weeks. Kids (aged 10, 13 and 15) had a ball and the childcare staff are absolutely wonderful. Food was great, buffet works well for the kids who can see their food before they choose and it encourages them to try things that they wouldn't if they had to choose from a menu.
The accommodation is a bit basic but it is kept very clean by friendly cleaners and the connecting bungalows we had were close to the beach and with a shady grass area for when the sun got too hot.
Waterfront staff are excellent, friendly and helpful. Watching and hearing the kids on the sea when they are in their groups sailing, windsurfing and mucking about was for me what makes this holiday so good for families - the kids are screaming with laughter, singing and shouting and having such a good time - this is what a holiday should be and this is where Mark Warner gets it so right at San Agostino. It may not be a glossy 5 star resort but the friendly atmosphere and relaxed ambience are why so many families return year after year.
The kids (and us) are sad to hear that San Agostino may not be a Mark Warner resort after this year. We and other families would love to return next year. George and his team do a great job and we really really hope that they will still be there in 2013 so we can come back again.

This was our 4th time at this resort. We have been to others too, including Lakitira but this is the best! The flights are a pain with awful times travelling out but the resort more than makes up for that, hence we keep returning despite having to travel to Gatwick from Scotland. That says it all really. The accommodation is good though not top class but it is clean and spacious with good air conditioning. It is the people and the place that make a great holiday and this is fantastic. The staff are excellent and in this resort the guests mix and socialise to a much greater degree than other places. With a huge number of regular returning guests we also get to meet up with old friends. It really does have that MW factor.
The facilities are great with a fab range of activities as well as tennis and watersports. Tennis is really an early morning and late afternoon/evenings activity as it is too hot for large parts of the day. Watersports are great with consistently flat water in the mornings with light wind (great for skiing) building to some really nice conditions in the afternoon for experienced sailors and windsurfers. I understand that MW may not have this resort after this season. Yes the accommodation is a bit dated but they should remember that what brings back guests is the service and atmosphere - and this place would be 5 star plus if rated on that basis. We hope that we can return!

I loved San Lucianu and cannot rate the resort highly enough. It had everything we needed as a family of four and more, Nothing was too much of a problem for the helpful and friendly staff. As novice sailors, the watersports team gave us a great introduction into sailing and windsurfing - and our young daughters even got to sail in a boat. We found the childcare to be excellent. The kids club was fun and friendly and in the evening, we were able to enjoy adult time and have lovely meals, whilst the children were in the creche watching a Disney movie. Our rooms - we had interconnecting rooms facing the sea - were of a fantastic standard and were in a quiet part of the hotel. We had such a great holiday and couldn't recommend this hotel enough. We had an amazing two weeks from start to finish at at the Sea Garden. Flying BA was a great start. The connection was short and well organised and the staff fabulous at all times. The Childcare was fabulous and we were able to relax every morning and even undertake some sailing tuition and volleyball. The food was lovely and very well presented. Our little boy had omlettes every morning for breakfast and ate his way through the buffet most of the day. Tea and cakes late afternoon and ice creams mid afternoon meant you never had a spare moment not to eat. The staff were always happy to help and assist. Elle the MW manager was lovely and Sarah and her Childcare staff were the best I have come across. We would not hesitate in booking to go back to the Sea Garden again next year. Thank you ALL!!

As we were travelling to a Mark Warner resort as a young couple we had reservations beforehand due to the fact it is generally thought of as being a family orientated holiday company. However, we had an amazing time and even decided to extend for another week. Sue the manager was very acommodating and sorted everything out for us. The pool facilities were diverse and we made full use of the adult pool. The tennis was great and the tennis staff were very helpful and friendly.
The food in the main restaurant was more varied than we first expected with plenty of choice and variety, however it became relatively boring after two weeks. We also ate at the Asian restaurant a couple of times which was a welcome change and the food was very good and well worth the extra money.
Our room was clean and spacious and the bathroom very nice. The small town of Kolimbia is not far away and it has a few bars and shops which we took advantage of.
Rhodes town is also well worth a visit along with Lindos if you have the time.
Overall the holiday was brilliant with staff, accomodation and facilities to match and definitelty worth a visit as a young couple.

Levante beach resort is cracking it has something for everyone.
Arrived at T5 early morning for a 0750 depart with BA. We boarded promptly but unfortunately there was a tech problem with the plane which meant an aircraft change. Thank goodness it was not a tin pot charter company BA were great and we only got delayed by an hour and a half.
Transfer quick and MW staff very efficient bags dropped in room.
We had a suite as we had our little guy with us. Room was lovely cool good quality towels and bedding. Nice shampoo. Double sink, good powerful shower and standard bath. N.B. shower floor very slippery when wet (just be careful)
Draw back throughout the whole place wrong sized loo seats.
Rooms always serviced to a high standard.
Beach towels provided.
All pools are clean and just the baby pool and main pool have lifeguards.
Pool closest to beach lacks enough sun beds.
Pool bar staffed by both Greek and MW staff great atmosphere bar prices spot on with music that is not intrusive.
Beach nice with plenty of beds. Caution sand is very hot so watch out if you take little ones and they start complaining could be the reason.
Sailing kit - well it is brand new
Windsurfing kit - great choice
There is a BIG problem with the sailing area as it is just to small for the fast boats RS500 Cats and windsurfing. I believe that this is being addressed but be prepared if you are an experience sailor or windsurfer as this on a windy day is a real pain.
When the wind blows offshore it is hard work getting back to the beach as the
there is a very narrow channel between a swimming area and power boat lane coupled with gusting wind due to the wind shadow of buildings on the shore.
Wind over my two weeks varied massively from nothing in week one to F5 for three days in week two.
Watersports staff are great would however be nice if they interacted with the guests in the evening. But might be a MW thing.
Main restaurant:
Breakfast- Really good choice Nb outside cook station offers waffles and pancakes
Lunch - slightly smaller selection then supper.
Kids tea - Good selection with soft drinks
Supper - Great choice NB different food outside then inside spit roasts roasted veal carved to order. Plus a variety of other things at the various cooking stations.
Main pool bar/ lunchtime bite- Good pizza good burgers at a fair price
Mini market- offers good selection of stuff and 6 pack of water €3.50 1.5L
Kids club- Really good run well
Kids evening / Video Club - This really is a great service offered by MW
Spa - Very good try the express service reasonable price NB need to pay cash or card can't charge room.
lobby Bar - slow and not very personable.
Wifi. Really really poor - iPads and iPhones don't work very well due bandwidth but a laptop or mac book works well. If you want to work that is
Mountain biking - good bikes and good guide but take water.
All in all great resort great team would I go again Yes please.

Stayed at Helona Hotel which was truely excellent including the main restaurant buffet food. A few useful facts :-
1) Dress code requires long trousers in evening albeit that scruffy jeans appeard to be acceptable! (Only took shorts which they had no option but to accept.)
2) Watersports only available for six days out of seven due to staff shortage and this was despite being assured by Mark Warner before booking that this historic issue had been resolved.
3) Return flight is very late and Strategic Air flights are likely to be delayed (borrowed planes used for both outbound and return flights). Plus Kos airport cannot cope with delays.
Nevertheless an excellent holiday so thank you Mark Warner, and would definitely go back.

Brilliant, went with low expectations and was amazed. Hotel was a little dated, but the rooms did what they needed to do. We had family room, separate room for kids (7 & 6), with bath/shower room. Food buffet style was good, kids could eat to their hearts content, with healthy options, if you could get the kids to eat them. Staff where exceptional, friendly, helpful and just could not do enough to please, always with a smile and never saw them treat anyone rudely. Would highly recommend and would happily go back for another two weeks, but understand Mark Warner may be closing it after this summer, don't know why, seems they believe Family's want 5 star hotels, most family's I spoke to there disagree and though San Agostino hit the right spot in terms of price and service. Come on Mark Warner change your mind, we have already told a number of friends about the place and they are looking to book up.

Just returned from a great week at Levante with our 1 and 3 year old. The pictures really do it justice. It was serene and spotless.
Our first trip with MW so we were curious. The sports facilities are fantastic. We tried mountain biking and water sports which were all delivered with both enthusiasm and knowledge.
I scored the food averagely. There is alot of it, it is cooked well and the kids tea is perfect. I think we would have preferred less dishes, cooked impeccably.
My only gripe/tip would be about the loungers at the beach pool. People get there pre breakfast to do the towel on a lounger thing. Which means if you don't get there pre 9.30 you don't stand a chance of getting one. We were fine because our kids were in the 9am club so we made it down there in time.
We will definitely be trying another MW in the near future.

Booked the week at San Agostino at short notice and it couldn't have been bettered. Our room in a bungalow had a view of the sea thro pine trees, totally peaceful. Rooms much better then usual for Greece. Spacious, good quiet aircon, good bathroom, loads of storage space. All Rooms seem to have three comfy single beds so can be used in a variety of configurations. Good, quality linen, generous changes. Only the hard pillows not quite to my satisfaction. Fab food at every meal, loads of choices, all good quality. The chefs deserve commendations! House wine very drinkable and well chilled, daily cocktail special happy hour. Rooms had fridges so the balconies were nice for a tipple too. The child care and child facilities were super, so children and unaccompanied adults didn't impact on each other. The site is completely flat so great for pushchairs, being spread out it keeps things relaxed and quiet. Great watersports availability, lots of equipment, tuition available and lots of free access too. Beach is so long it's really peaceful if you can bear to miss the activities. Elise will keep you fit and flexible with all sorts of land based exercise...she's brilliant even in 40C temps. Only a very short airport transfer so the holiday gets off to a great start once you've survived the early and cramped flight. Just grin and bear it, it's worth it! Wish I was still there! Keep up the good work team, hope this resort continues next year.

Our 3rd holiday at this resort. As always a fantastic holiday. Sailing and Tennis excellent for my husband. I especially enjoyed all the fitness classes taught by an extemely excellent instuctor. Fantastic Mark Warner staff as always making you feel instantly on holiday the moment you arrive! Food fantastic choice and plenty of it! This is a fabulous place to holiday where you can be as relaxed or as active as you wish. I think the fact we have returned 3 times now, and on talking with many other guests who have visited the San Agostino previously just says it all! It ticks all the boxes and more for just the best holiday. We will be back. Thanks to all at Mark Warner.

We had a lovely time on our one week holiday at Levante Beach. The watersports facilities are excellent; food is good (breakfast and dinner are buffet meals each day, plenty of healthy options but not much variety - mainly the same dishes repeated each night, but still good). We also appreciated the adults only pool which was lovely and quiet.

Everything about this holiday was superb. From the BA flightcrew to the staff at MW in Levante. Top class hotel facilities, wonderful shore gang for the sailing - added to some good winds for the vaious dinghies. How do these guys keep their enthusiasm? Thanks MW, look forward to seeing you later in the year.

Wow this was a relaxing but stimulating holiday. Short Flight and Transfer, Luggage taken to rooms. Good information on daily activities - we did sailing, windsurfing, biking, volleyball and tennis. The hotel gardens are green with shaded areas and you do not sit on top of each other, The beach bar is a superb central point. Staff were all attentive and particularly enjoyed the al fresco meal times. We preferred to eat earlier at 7.15 when the restaurant was less busy. There was a mixture of families with young children, older families and couples who all were enjoying the holiday. Our seventeen year old son has requested a return trip instead of a party to celebrate his 18th. Large TV screen in lounge enjoyed watching Wimbledon.

This was a fab holiday! went last year with my friend and their parents, all of us already sail and take part in a number of water sports, so we found this amazing! the staff were lovely both in the hotel and out on the front. If any of us had any questions they quickly answered them! the night time entertainment was great and allowed you to mingle and get to know people. The races were so good and fun, with a great deal of competitiveness in them. I was successful enough to win one, and then come second in the other two rounds. I found the final presentation of awards at the end of the week a lovely way to finalise and celebrate the holiday. The rooms were fine with a lovely view and air con fro when it got hot-which it most certainly did! There was about a 15-20 minute walk into the town which was lovely and hot, with a few little shops, arcade, supermarket and other places. There were always activities going on which anyone was welcome in. I shall be most definately coming back here again, if not for a holiday then to work here for a summer or two!

A really excellent holiday here in the first week of the season.Couldn't really have been any better. A young friendly and very professional Mark Warner staff, a quality waterfront set up , great activities - water polo, volleyball, etc, coupled with tasty food and chilled wines . Fantastic weather too. The rooms are fairly basic, but convenient and very well cleaned and comfortable. Loved it - want to go back !

My first time with Mark Warner for a long time and I was totally impressed with Levante in its first week of opening - it was not without its teething problems understandably but the staff and especially the resort manager were all trying their very best to ensure guests had great time and I believe they succeeded. The rooms are spacious and clean and the bedding soft! Water sports kit is all brand new and the pools well spaced out. Food was varied and tastey. I'd definitely go back and have already recommended friends. Enjoy if you go!

I visited Levante Beach with a friend on its opening week. I was impressed with the new hotel and facilities it offered, considering it was its first week of operation all the staff and the manager were up to speed and only happy to help.
I was very pleased to see that the waterfront was up and running with brand new kit. I was literally the first person to take out one of the Cats.
Great selection of food throughout the day, we went for the full board option and were not disappointed. We were thrilled with our room, which was one of the sea facing suites overlooking the pool with a balcony and two bathrooms.

We all loved this resort, the beach was beautiful and water crystal clear, which made the water sports superb.
I believe that Mark Warner has use of the whole place this year so that would make it even better.
The staff were lovely and so helpful, childcare staff really fun so said your 13 year old.
I want to return here someday soon...

I recently stayed at Perdepera and cannot sing its praises enough. I’ll admit that I was slightly concerned before going, as some of the reviews weren’t too complimentary about the food last year, but I have to say that this year it is definitely one of their selling points. I cannot compliment the chef enough. They had a wide selection of hot and cold foods to suit everyone’s taste, and we even got to sample some typical Sardinian dishes. The evening meals alternated between a la carte and buffet which suited us perfectly, as we sometimes get tired of the same style every night.
As for the water sports (one of the main reasons we went), they were all extremely well-organised. The beach is a minute’s walk from the hotel and the instructors were just great. You have to try the Zumba classes too – a great laugh!
The Mark Warner staff were always very friendly and on hand to help, too.
All in all, a fab holiday! Well done, Mark Warner!

We had a great week at the Perdepera Beach Resort in Sardinia. The resort has everything you need for a great holiday: a lovely quiet beach only a few steps from your accommodation, amazing food and lovely cheerful staff.
I'd like to especially mention how good the food was. Every night it was a tough decision of what to select as everything looked and tasted amazing. It was nice to see that despite this hotel being run by a UK tour operator there was always plenty of Italian food to choose from.
We travelled without children but those who were travelling with children were kept very entertained.
As it was early on in the season the resort wasn't very busy and it was easy to book into water sports sessions and the staff were really friendly and helpful.
Overall a great holiday - thanks Mark Warner!

Perdepera Resort is a great place to go on a fun and active family holiday. Although I wasn't travelling with children there were plenty of activities to keep children occupied if adults want to just chill by the pool or the beach.
Watersports, mountain biking and tennis facilities are all great and being included in the price of the holiday is a real bonus.

I chose San Agostino as it offered a whole range of watersports activities but it was particularly for the windsurfing that I was looking to try for the first time. I signed up for 3 taster sessions, taught by a very experienced and knowledgeable instructor in a small group. San Agostino is a fantastic resort with a long sandy beach and has great facilities for both adults and children, offering an excellent range of sailing and windsurfing equipment for all abilities. There was a great variety of food each day to choose from, always freshly prepared and they can even cater for most dietary requirements if required. A very enjoyable holiday that I would recommend to anyone. I'll definitely be going back!

I had never been on a Mark Warner holiday before and the Ocean Club seemed a good option for me and my husband as it offered a bit more independence, while at the same time offering the great Mark Warner tennis we were keen to get stuck in with. We would eat breakfast and dinner at the main restaurant and at lunchtime we utilised the local supermarket and the kitchen in our appartment. The Ocean Club itself is set in a very quaint fishing village and is a great place to explore, further afield we visited Faro and the coastal countryside around the resort. A great holiday for all.

2nd visit to Sea Garden and it did not disappoint. Great to travel on BA flights, all on time and arrived in comfort. As usual the staff were friendly and welcoming, rooms were great standard with the same stunning views. The dining options were great, so much choice and such good quality. Tried my hand at windsurfing for the first time and was given some great fun tuition at the start of week, followed by loads of helpful tips and pointers each time I went out on my own.

I was thrilled with my holiday at The Sea Garden resort: our rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable; there was a wide variety of food to suit all tastes; for the active amongst us there was always an boat or windsurf with a helpful member of staff to hand, not to mention a packed activities timetable; the pool, a clear focal point, was the perfect spot to relax and had exactly the beautiful sea views promised in the brochure; and in the evening ‘Mini Bodrum’ was on our doorstep with all the local beers and terrible music we were looking for. For a group of 20-somethings it ticked all the boxes. If there were any areas to improve, it would have been nice to have more atmosphere in the restaurant in the evening (e.g. candles and maybe an outside dining area) and more tennis courts since the booking times were limited.

We travelled with 2 children and took two interconnecting rooms each with its own bathroom. The accommodation was just right for us. We spent most of our time on the hotel side of the resort but also went over to the other bay which was like a mill pond. We also rented a gulet out with a few others for a couple of hours to take the kids. The food was good although the speciality restaurants were a little hit and miss. All in all a fantastic holiday and being an all-inclusive our room bill for two weeks was a mere £98!

Excellent Mark Warner resort with all inclusive food and drinks. Good choice of restaurants catering for many types of food styles. The 2 buffet restaurants are good and excellent idea to include vouchers for eating in the other restaurants to allow a bigger dining out choice, with the option to purchase more vouchers. Good entertainment provided in the Mini Bodrum bar & entertainment area. Mini Bodrum provides a good range of other restaurants and bars plus shops and a cashpoint machine. The rooms are of a good quality with air con, which is vital in the summer. The Spa is wonderful with an excellent range of treatments providing pure relaxation and quiet, I would recommend the Turkish Bath. The beach bar on the waters edge provides a stunning location to watch the sun go down whilst sipping a cocktail. There is a good range of activities with tennis, aerobics, volleyball, sailing, windsurfing to name a few. It's a large resort providing plenty of space to not feel crowded & to be able to get away from people if you want. I would definitely go back.
