Overview
This homely but sociable resort is a favourite with families and watersports enthusiasts. There’s so much on offer from sailing, windsurfing, tennis, mountain biking, or simply taking to your sun lounger beside the pool or on the beach.
Children are well catered for at San Lucianu, and will love the large, dedicated childcare centre which offers clubs for children from 4 months of age upwards. For teenagers, we run the "Indy Club" - a place for teenagers to come along and meet fellow teenage guests and join a daily programme of team activities and fun.
Accommodation
Set amongst landscaped gardens with heavenly-scented Eucalyptus groves and lush green lawns the hotel has 95 rooms, 50 of which have been refurbished for Summer 2013 and will be of deluxe standard. You can choose either a twin, double, family room or suite and most can also accommodate an extra child’s bed.
The rooms are light and airy and decorated with vibrant colours, and each one has its own private balcony. All rooms are air-conditioned with ensuite bathrooms. Hairdryers are available on request from reception.
Wi-Fi is available free of charge.
Dining
Your holiday price includes a half board dining option, but shoud you wish to upgrade to full board option, then you can do so for the small additional cost of £49 per adult and £35 per child per week.
Breakfast is served on the restaurant terrace with its views of the gardens below. Enjoy a selection of pastries and hot croissants with your morning coffee or give yourself a healthy start to the day with some of the mouth-wateringly fresh local fruit and yoghurts on offer. There’s also a cooked breakfast option available.
At lunchtime, snacks are available from the beach bar (at additional cost), or for those that have upgraded to the full board option, the restaurant is open and serves a delicious array of dishes from the buffet, grill and salad bar.
The cold buffet includes several salad options. Choose from pre-made salads or combine separate ingredients creating something to your taste. The hot buffet serves different meat, fish and vegetarian options every day, accompanied with fresh seasonal vegetables. The new pizzeria offers a selection of different authentic pizzas, while the main restaurant prepares fresh pasta to order with your choice of topping, or a hot salad. Conclude lunchtimes with our dessert options of fresh fruit and pastries or an refreshing ice-cream from the gelato station offering 10-20 different flavours.
Full board guests heading out for the day need not miss out as a full packed lunch will be provided.
In the evenings, enjoy dining on the terrace with its gentle sea breeze. There are plenty of local specialities to tempt you from the buffet and grill and on a few evenings, the restaurant will be offering an a la carte menu.
There are two bars at San Lucianu, one is the elegant indoor hotel bar with large outdoor terrace overlooking the pool and gardens, and the second is the fabulous bar right on the beach. From here, you can enjoy a drink whilst watching the sun going down.
